  • Patent number: 7922602
Abstract: A golf putter head having a vertically curved putter face with multiple horizontal contact facets. The face has a vertical radius of curvature that is at least 2 inches and no more than 3.5 inches. The face includes a plurality of horizontal contact facets that are vertically curved to match the vertical radius of curvature. The contact facets, along with the radius of curvature, ensure that no more than two of the horizontal contact facets contact the golf ball when struck by the putter head at a speed of less than 15 miles per hour. The putter produces a horizontal linear contact, or impact, geometry that compensates for misdirection of the path of the putter head throughout the stroke of the putter head. At least one of the horizontal contact facets is located at an elevation above the center of curvature and at least one is located below.

  • Patent number: 7878917
Abstract: A laser aligning device is mounted on the flat side of a putter grip or other cylindrically asymmetric surface of a club grip and emits a fan shaped light sheet. The light sheet is perpendicular to the flat side of the putter grip. The light sheet projects a visible laser line on a plane such as the ground when the head is on the same plane. The alignment of the grip relative to the putter head's face can be inspected by visually inspecting the orientation of the projected line on the plane relative to the head's face. The grip can be adjusted and fixed so that it is properly oriented to the face.

  • Patent number: 7794332
Abstract: A visual and tactile confirmation golf grip and system is provided. The golf grip may include an alignment channel, an alignment projection, or combinations thereof extending along an anterior surface of the golf grip, a posterior surface of the golf grip, a side surface of the golf grip, or combinations thereof. The alignment channel and the alignment projection are designed and configured to provide a visual and tactile indication as to whether the golf grip is in the proper, or intended, orientation with respect to a golf club face. The system includes a golf grip and an alignment device. The alignment device is releasably secured to the golf grip and includes a feedback element. The feedback element provides an indication as to whether the golf grip is in a desired position with respect to the golf club face.

  • Patent number: 7785582
Abstract: A method for treating a patient to repair or regenerate damaged tissues or organs in which synovium from a joint or omentum from the abdomen are harvested to provide explants, optionally separating cells from the synovium or omentum explants for culture or tissue specification, and introducting the explants or separated cells from the synovium or omentum into damaged tissues or organs to repair the damaged tissues or organs.

  • Publication number: 20100192418
Abstract: The present invention provides devices, methods, and kits for reducing joint pain and treating conditions of weight-bearing joints. The methods are accomplished through the use of a cushioned wedged insole or slab that selectively reduces pressure by cushioning impact and redistributing forces away from affected joints or joint compartments. Further, insoles are provided, which mimic the combination of fatty globules and the surrounding restricting fibrous network cushioning structures found in the foot.

  • Publication number: 20100184530
Abstract: A visual and tactile confirmation golf grip and system is provided. The golf grip includes a grip body having an upper portion, a lower portion, a grip length, a proximal end, a distal end, and an exterior body surface. The exterior body surface is defined by a first quadrant, a second quadrant, a third quadrant, and a fourth quadrant. The golf grip may include a first alignment channel, a second alignment channel, a third alignment channel, and a fourth alignment channel. The alignment channels are configured to extend longitudinally along the exterior body surface. The golf grip is configured such that for any given quadrant, there is only one alignment channel in that particular quadrant. The alignment channels are sized and dimensioned to accommodate two-point discrimination, and thus allow a golfer to tactilely perceive the alignment channels to help build psychomotor confidence, which ultimately leads to better golf shots.
