Abstract: A golf putter has a shaft with a grip at a proximal end and a head at a distal end of the shaft for contacting a golf ball on the ground during putting of the golf ball. The head includes an elongate blade having opposed ends, with a top side and a bottom side, a first linear edge extending therebetween, a back edge opposed to the first linear edge, a heel edge extending between the first linear edge and the back edge, a toe edge opposing the heel edge, and a first substantially round weight portion between the heel edge and the back edge. The head includes a second substantially round weight portion between the toe edge and the back edge and the top side, and the first substantially round weight portion and the second substantially round weight portion forms the likeness of a mouse ear.

Abstract: A golf putter (10) and putter head (15, 44) having an elongate flat blade (16, 46) for contacting a golf ball (20). The elongate flat blade (16, 46) is of narrow width. The head (15, 44) has a contact area (24) between the blade (16, 46) and the golf ball (20) which is linear, and of narrow width. The contact area (24) on the ball (20) is horizontal in orientation. Additionally, the contact area (24) on the ball (20) usually spans the dimple (22) diameter.

Abstract: A delivery member having a flexible wall is formed to substantially surround tubular body tissue in contacting relationship wherewith. The delivery member contains pressurized medication, nutrients or gas. A plurality of small openings are provided in that portion of the wall which contacts the tissue to permit the medication, nutrients or gas to escape from the member and perfuse into the tissue.

Abstract: A delivery member is detachably secured to a discharge port of a syringe. The delivery member is provided with a fluted, open-ended distal portion having a cross-sectional area which is substantially greater than that of the discharge port. When the open end of the fluted portion is pressed against tissue and liquid medication or nutrient, or gas, is supplied under pressure to the delivery member from the syringe, the liquid is perfused into the tissue.

Abstract: A biodegradable screw is used to secure a prosthesis component to bone, the screw disclosed having a head portion, a threaded portion, and a bore extending along the screw's longitudinal axis through the head portion and through at least a substantial length of the threaded portion.

Abstract: A device for dovetailing a wall of a cavity formed in cartilage includes a handle from which a pair of flexible blades extend, the blades having outwardly bent distal ends provided with cutting edges. A spike, fixed to the handle in a position substantially coaxial with the handle's longitudinal axis, is disposed between the blades.

Abstract: A drill bit is dimensioned to be received within a bone joint. The bit is oriented and retained in position by a removable fixation device to permit a drill drive shaft to be secured to, or removed from, the drill bit. By securing the drive shaft within a cavity at the end of the bit which performs the drilling function, retrograde drilling of bone from within the joint can be achieved. When the drive shaft is secured within a cavity at the opposite end of the drill bit, antegrade drilling of bone is possible from within the joint.

Abstract: A femoral prosthesis includes a stem tapered from its proximal end to its distal end, the stem having a substantially oval-shaped cross-section along its length. The stem has a twisted waist portion intermediate its ends whereby the major axes of the cross-section on opposite sides of the waist portion are disposed at an angle of approximately 90.degree. with respect to one another so as to conform with the geometry of an intramedullary canal within which the stem is to be received.

Abstract: A device is provided for retaining an articular cartilage graft within a cavity formed in cartilage. The device is a disk-shaped cap having a peripheral edge formed to be complementary with a wall of the cavity such that with the cap inserted into the cavity, it is secured in position in overlying relationship with the graft.
