  • Patent number: 11376973
Abstract: A system of a vehicle includes a processor configured to control output current of a remote power distribution circuit (PDC) connected to the vehicle according to a temperature change of a power line or return line of the PDC. The temperature change is derived from a PDC output voltage or output current change. The PDC output voltage and output current are measured at an input to a load connected to the PDC. And, the PDC output voltage is measured between a ground line of the PDC and one of the power and return lines.

  • Publication number: 20220163403
Abstract: A system for determining temperature includes a housing having an interior cavity defined by at least one electrically conductive wall having an inside surface exposed to the interior cavity, an outside surface opposite the inside surface, and a single sensor feed through hole defined from the inside surface to the outside surface. A temperature sensor is mounted to the inside surface, including an isolated single wire extending from the sensor to the outside surface via the single sensor feed through hole. The wall provides a first voltage signal responsive to a temperature change within the interior cavity to an electronic device, and the isolated single wire provides a second voltage signal, different from the first, responsive to the temperature change, to the electronic device such that the electronic device determines an interior cavity temperature based on a signal determined from the first and second voltage signals.

  • Patent number: 11301877
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to administration of an electronic survey to collect perception ratings for an event. For example, an electronic survey system provides a perception survey question to a respondent client device for an event (e.g., a digital media event or a live user experience). As a user associated with the respondent client device experiences the event, the user indicates a perception rating over time for the event by interacting with a graphical input element corresponding to the perception survey question. The survey system collects perception data points indicating the perception rating of the user and associates information about the user with the perception data points. The survey system can generate response data for the perception survey question based on the perception data points. The survey system can also generate a perception data report using the user profile information.

  • Publication number: 20210248631
Abstract: This disclosure covers systems and methods that administer a digital survey to respondents who interact with a biometric sensor to collect and convert biometric data into behavioral and physical characteristics of the respondents. In certain embodiments, by converting biometric data into respondent characteristics, the disclosed systems and methods identify various unwritten or nonverbal responses of survey respondents who respond to a digital survey or who interact with a display medium that captures survey data. To facilitate review of respondents' characteristics and responses, in some embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods further categorize the converted respondent characteristics within a response database for the digital survey.

  • Publication number: 20210222474
Abstract: An automated door system includes a door pivotally coupled to a vehicle body at a hinge axis defined by at least one hinge assembly. A power assist device is coupled to the hinge assembly and further coupled to the door. The power assist device is configured to slow movement of the door along a door swing path from an initial velocity to a slow close velocity when the initial velocity exceeds a predetermined threshold velocity, thereby providing a slow and controlled close when a user attempts to slam the door. The power assist device is further configured to power opening and closing movement of the door as initiated by a user.
