Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of suggesting intent frame(s) for user request(s). For instance, the intent frame(s) may be suggested to elicit a request from a user. An intent frame is a natural language phrase (e.g., a sentence) that includes at least one carrier phrase and at least one slot. A slot in an intent frame is a placeholder that is identified as being replaceable by one or more words that identify an entity and/or an action to indicate an intent of the user. A carrier phrase in an intent frame includes one or more words that suggest a type of entity and/or action that is to be identified by the one or more words that may replace the corresponding slot. In accordance with these techniques, the intent frame(s) are suggested in response to determining that natural language functionality of a processing system is activated.

Abstract: A collimated stereo display system is provided. The system comprises: an image generator enabled to provide a stream of stereoscopic images comprising left eye images and right eye images; at least one image modulator enabled to receive the stream of stereoscopic images from the image generator and form light into the stereoscopic images for viewing at a viewing apparatus for filtering the light into the left eye images and the right eye images respectively thereby providing a three dimensional rendering of the stereoscopic images when viewed through the viewing apparatus; and, collimation apparatus enabled to receive and collimate the light from the at least one image modulator, such that rays of light are substantially parallel when the stereoscopic images are received at the viewing apparatus.

Abstract: Domain detection training in a spoken language understanding system may be provided. Log data associated with a search engine, each associated with a search query, may be received. A domain label for each search query may be identified and the domain label and link data may be provided to a training set for a spoken language understanding model.

Abstract: Sentence simplification may be provided. A spoken phrase may be received and converted to a text phrase. An intent associated with the text phrase may be identified. The text phrase may then be reformatted according to the identified intent and a task may be performed according to the reformatted text phrase.

Abstract: Training for a statistical dialog manager may be provided. A plurality of log data associated with an intent may be received, and at least one step associated with completing the intent according to the plurality of log data may be identified. An understanding model associated with the intent may be created, including a plurality of queries mapped to the intent. In response to receiving a natural language query from a user that is associated with the intent a response to the user may be provided according to the understanding model.

Abstract: Location-based conversational understanding may be provided. Upon receiving a query from a user, an environmental context associated with the query may be generated. The query may be interpreted according to the environmental context. The interpreted query may be executed and at least one result associated with the query may be provided to the user.

Abstract: An augmented conversational understanding architecture may be provided. Upon receiving a natural language phrase from a user, the phrase may be translated into a search phrase and a search action may be performed on the search phrase.

Abstract: Personalization of user interactions may be provided. Upon receiving a phrase from a user, a plurality of semantic concepts associated with the user may be loaded. If the phrase is determined to comprise at least one of the plurality of semantic concepts associated with the user, a first action may be performed according to the phrase. If the phrase is determined not to comprise at least one of the plurality of semantic concepts associated with the user, a second action may be performed according to the phrase.

Abstract: A user interaction activation may be provided. A plurality of signals received from a user may be evaluated to determine whether the plurality of signals are associated with a visual display. If so, the plurality of signals may be translated into an agent action and a context associated with the visual display may be retrieved. The agent action may be performed according to the retrieved context and a result associated with the performed agent action may be displayed to the user.

Abstract: Identification of user intents may be provided. A plurality of network applications may be identified, and an ontology associated with each of the plurality of applications may be defined. If a phrase received from a user is associated with at least one of the defined ontologies, an action associated with the network application may be executed.

Abstract: An augmented conversational understanding agent may be provided. Upon receiving, by an agent, at least one natural language phrase from a user, a context associated with the at least one natural language phrase may be identified. The natural language phrase may be associated, for example, with a conversation between the user and a second user. An agent action associated with the identified context may be performed according to the at least one natural language phrase and a result associated with performing the action may be displayed.

Abstract: Conversational dialog learning and correction may be provided. Upon receiving a natural language phrase from a first user, at least one second user associated with the natural language phrase may be identified. A context state may be created according to the first user and the at least one second user. The natural language phrase may then be translated into an agent action according to the context state.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a carcass includes an elongate housing having a forward and a rearward frame disposed in parallel, transversely opposed relation to one another. The elongate housing includes a plurality of stations. At least one rotating device at each station is disposed on the forward or rearward frame. A first station may include a pair of transversely opposed counter-rotating devices disposed at a common downward angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the elongate housing. A second station includes a plurality of rotating devices positioned near the top of the apparatus to clean the hoof and ankle area. A third station includes a plurality of vertically stacked rotating devices. A fourth, fifth, and sixth station include plural rotating devices in axial alignment with one another that are collectively oriented in a predetermined downward slope relative to the longitudinal axis to clean a carcass from top to bottom.

Abstract: A method for forming an opening in two different turbine components is provided. The method includes coupling a clamp to a base and coupling the clamp to a clamp bar, wherein the clamp bar is moveable with respect to the base. A first bushing plate is selected based on a first turbine component being drilled and is removably coupled to the base. A bushing is removably coupled to at least one aperture extending through the first bushing plate. An opening is formed in the first turbine component. A second bushing plate is selected based on a second turbine component being drilled. The second turbine component is different from the first turbine component. The second bushing plate is removably coupled to the base. An opening is formed in the second turbine component.

Abstract: Pile splice assemblies, pile systems involving such assemblies and methods for splicing piles are provided. In this regard, a representative method includes: using strand locking devices to attach first and second anchors to respective strands of first and second piles; and securing the first and second anchors to each other.

Abstract: A locking hinge for outside doors to help prevent unwanted entry, specifically for anyone wanting additional security. This invention has two or more hardened steel pins going thru hinge pin during manufacture of hinge to prevent door from opening when pins are inserted, while removing pins allows door to open freely. This invention has an alignment guide on the top of the center pin that holds the two parts of the hinge together. Invention has a warning sign above the existing door knob to inform people inside if the door is locked or unlocked.

Abstract: An apparatus for washing a split animal carcass includes upper and lower pairs of upwardly inclined brushes, leading and trailing vertical brushes, and upper and lower pairs of downwardly inclined brushes. The upwardly inclined brushes are transversely spaced apart from one another to accommodate an animal carcass between them, as are the downwardly inclined brushes. First and second fluid headers are positioned in parallel relation to each inclined brush and three fluid headers are associated with the vertical brushes. The first inclined fluid headers have nozzles aimed at the carcass and the second inclined fluid headers have nozzles aimed at the brushes. Two of the vertical brush fluid headers are aimed at the vertical brushes and the third fluid header is aimed at the carcass.

Abstract: A washer cabinet has a bottom floor, a top wall, and a pair of upstanding sidewalls to define a channel that extends the length of the cabinet. The channel has an entry end and an exit end. An overhead track suspends animal carcasses in alignment with the channel. A plurality of rotating appendages and a plurality of fluid nozzles are positioned within the cabinet. An animal carcass suspended from the overhead track is moved into the cabinet through the entry end. The carcass comes into contact with the rotating appendages and is washed by fluid emitted from the fluid nozzles as it traverses the length of the cabinet before exiting at the exit end.

Abstract: An apparatus for washing the neck area of an animal carcass includes a pair of upwardly inclined brushes sharing a common angle of inclination, followed by a first pair of vertically disposed brushes, a second pair of vertically disposed brushes, and by a pair of downwardly inclined brushes sharing a common angle of inclination. The brushes of each pair of brushes are transversely spaced apart from one another to accommodate an animal carcass between them. First and second fluid headers are positioned in parallel relation to each inclined brush. A neck area of a carcass is initially cleaned by the pair of upwardly inclined brushes and associated fluid headers. The neck area then passes between the first and second pair of vertical brushes and associated fluid headers. The final cleaning is administered by the pair of downwardly inclined brushes and their associated fluid headers.
