  • Publication number: 20120046356
Abstract: There is provided a process for the preparation of a compound of formula (III), wherein X and Y are as described in the description. Such compounds may, for example, be useful intermediates in the synthesis of drugs such as Dronedarone. There is also provided a process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I).

  • Publication number: 20100292319
Abstract: There is provided a process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, X and Y are as described in the description. Such compounds may, for example, be useful intermediates in the synthesis of drugs such as Dronedarone. Intermediate steps of the process comprise formulae according to (II) and (III).

  • Patent number: 5620156
Abstract: A device for operating a switch of a railway track including switch blades. The device includes a drive module, a linear operating module coupled to and driven by the drive module for generating a linear movement and at least one locking module interconnected between the linear operating module and the switch blades. The locking module transfers the linear movement from the linear operating module to the switch blades, thereby moving the switch blades across a longitudinal direction of the railway track from a first position to a second position. The at least one locking module also locks the switch blades in the first position or the second position independently of the linear operating module. A girder box forms a sleeper of the railway track for housing the drive module, the linear operating module, and the at least one locking module. The device also includes apparatus for joining the drive module, the linear operating module, and the at least one locking module.

  • Patent number: 5420922
Abstract: A system for safe transmission of a message with positive identification of the sender includes on the transmitter side telefax-type message-transmitting apparatus (10) and encryption means (22) for encrypting transmission signals from the telefax apparatus prior to transmission, and includes on the receiver side decryption means (25) for decrypting incoming signals prior to their receipt in telefax-type apparatus (20), and message enveloping and message gathering means (21) for safe storage of messages received by the telefax apparatus (20) in an enveloped form within a closed casing (11). Activating means (23) on the transmitter side includes a card reader (231) and keyboard (232) and is intended to activate the encryption means (22) in response to signals from the card reader (231) and the keyboard (232). Control means (24) on the receiver side function are adapted to activate the decryption means (25) in response to signals emanating from the card reader (231) and the keyboard (232).

  • Patent number: 4377835
Abstract: In a thyristor valve having a plurality of series-connected thyristors, each thyristor has an individual recovery protection device arranged in its entirety at the potential of the thyristor. For each thyristor, the protection device comprises a voltage-sensing member whch indicates the point of time when the thyristor takes up reverse blocking voltage. A time-determining member defines a certain time interval, counting from said point of time. Control members are arranged to deliver a control pulse for firing the thyristor if the off-state voltage of the thyristor during the time interval exceeds a predetermined value.
