  • Patent number: 11553631
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to removing an adhesively-attached component from a circuit board assembly. A complementary pair of high-permeability members are positioned on opposite sides of the circuit board assembly about the adhesively-attached component. Then, a magnetic field is induced within the complementary pair of high permeability members via a coil driver generating an AC current in an inductive coil circumscribing a central pedestal of the complementary pair of high-permeability members. The magnetic field induced is directed through the adhesively-attached component via a central pedestal located proximate the adhesively-attached component. A return path for the magnetic field is provided about a periphery of the adhesively-attached component via a peripheral pedestal.

  • Patent number: 11532377
Abstract: Systems and methods for modeling a three-dimensional protein structure are disclosed. The method includes receiving a primary amino acid sequence of a three-dimensional protein, translating the primary amino acid sequence to a first vector, determining a per-residue conformation index for each amino acid residue in the primary amino acid sequence, determining a vector set for each amino acid residue in the primary amino acid sequence, and using the per-residue interaction vector set to generate a multi-dimensional matrix for the three-dimensional protein structure. The first vector includes a unique numerical descriptor value corresponding to each amino acid residue in the primary amino acid sequence. The vector set includes a plurality per-residue interaction factors corresponding to a plurality of conformation indexes for that amino acid residue.

  • Publication number: 20220175156
Abstract: A refrigerated display case chassis includes a first insulated panel and a second insulated panel. The first insulated panel has a first foam layer bounded by a first pair of thermally conductive sheets. The first insulated panel forms a first wall of the refrigerated display case chassis. The second insulated panel has a second foam layer bounded by a second pair of thermally conductive sheets. The second insulated panel forms a second wall of the refrigerated display case chassis. The second insulated panel mates with the first insulated panel to form a thermally insulated joint where, in cross-section, one sheet of the first pair of thermally conductive sheets terminates at a surface of the second foam layer. The thermally conductive sheets have a greater thermal conductivity than the first or second foam layers.

The instructions are executable by the processor to receive, at the client computing device, user input including a password associated with the unique identifier. The instructions are executable by the processor to send the password to the server computing device for verification. The instructions are executable by the processor to receive, from the server computing device, a data image for installing a desired operating system on the client computing device, and doing so according to a user selection received at the client computing device.

  • Publication number: 20220020375
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for detecting a mission changes in a conversation. A user utterance from a user device is received. The user utterance is part of a conversation with an intelligent assistant. The conversation includes preceding user utterances in pursuit of a first mission. It is determined that the user utterance indicates a mission change from the first mission to a second mission based on an application of a machine-learned model to the user utterance and the preceding user utterances. The machine-learned model has been trained repeatedly with past utterances of other users over a time period, the determining based on a certainty of the indication satisfying a certainty threshold. Responsive to the determining that the user utterance indicates the mission change from the first mission to a second mission, a reply to the user utterance is generated to further the second mission rather than the first mission.

  • Publication number: 20210381656
Abstract: Systems for containing a fluid leaked from a pipeline include a flexible, impermeable liner such as like those comprising a coated substrate (or other impermeable liner or material) and disposed to extend along a trench for enveloping the pipeline deployed therein; and separating means disposed between the pipeline and the containment liner for containing the fluid therein; wherein the liner prevents migration of the fluid into the trench of the pipeline or surrounding environment by flowing the fluid laterally within the containment liner, system also protects the steel pipe from corrosion caused by the environment, such as groundwater. Methods for deploying the above systems are provided.
