  • Publication number: 20240160917
Abstract: A method of training a neural network based three-dimensional (3D) encoder is provided. A training dataset is generated using a plurality of 3D models of a 3D model dataset. To generate a first sample of the training dataset, an image generator with multi-view rendering is used to generate a plurality of image candidates of a first 3D model. A point cloud is generated by randomly sampling points in the 3D model. The first sample is generated to include a first image randomly selected from the plurality of image candidates, one or more text descriptions, and the point cloud is generated. The 3D encoder is trained using the training dataset including the first sample.

  • Publication number: 20240160857
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that train a machine-learned language encoding model through the use of a contrastive learning task. In particular, the present disclosure describes a contrastive learning task where the encoder learns to distinguish input tokens from plausible alternatives. In some implementations, on each training example the proposed method masks out some subset (e.g., 15%) of the original input tokens, replaces the masked tokens with samples from a “generator” (e.g., which may be a small masked language model), and then trains the encoder to predict whether each token comes from the original data or is a replacement produced by the generator.

  • Publication number: 20240160692
Abstract: A method of implementing a scatter operation in fixed-function hardware of a neural network accelerator involves converting two or more vectors of indices to sparse index tensors in a one-hot sparse format. An update tensor is generated, by applying the update values to one of the sparse index tensors (or a tensor derived from it). In some examples, an input data tensor is updated based on the update tensor. In other examples, the update tensor itself is output.

  • Publication number: 20240161344
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media embed a trained neural network within a digital image. For instance, in one or more embodiments, the systems identify out-of-gamut pixel values of a digital image in a first gamut, where the digital image is converted to the first gamut from a second gamut. Furthermore, the systems determine target pixel values of a target version of the digital image in the first gamut that correspond to the out-of-gamut pixel values. The systems train a neural network to predict the target pixel values in the first gamut based on the out-of-gamut pixel values. The systems embed the neural network within the digital image in the second gamut to allow for extraction of the embedded neural network from the digital image to restore the digital image to a larger gamut digital image.
