  • Patent number: 6392141
Abstract: An electrical enclosure having continuous front accessible dedicated wiring compartments. The dedicated wiring compartments provide the installer with easily accessible front wiring compartments. Each dedicated wiring compartment contains wiring for a specific function. The dedicated wiring compartments are configured to provide a continuous front accessible wiring compartment for multiple enclosures installed immediately adjacent one another. Horizontal frame members of the electrical enclosure provide a significant part of each dedicated wiring compartment.

  • Patent number: 5758563
Abstract: A fluid-driven reciprocating pump includes a housing and a reciprocating assembly defining first and second working fluid chambers. The housing includes an inlet and an outlet for introduction and exhaustion of the working fluid. A valve member slidably moves against a valve surface between a first position, in which communication is established between the first working fluid chamber and either the power fluid inlet or outlet, and a second position in which communication is established between the second working fluid chamber and the same inlet or outlet. The reciprocating assembly includes a rod which moves in response to the introduction and exhaustion of the power fluid into and out of the first and second working chambers. A control valve actuator shifts the valve member between the first and second positions in response to the movement of the reciprocating rod and also urges the valve member toward the valve surface to form a fluid-tight union therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5761026
Abstract: The present invention provides a mounting system for circuit breakers in an electrical panelboard assembly. The base and cover forming the circuit breaker casing has an integral foot extending from a bottom side. The foot is angled and has a notch on a side forming an acute angle with the bottom. The panelboard assembly has a bus cover adapted with a opening or opening to receive the foot. This secures the circuit breaker on one end, and a screw into a bus secures the circuit breaker on an opposing end. The bus cover has a rail which engages the notch in the foot. On an opposing side of the foot, a spring engages the foot and forces the foot into the rail. The spring is an integral part of the bus cover and is cantilevered at an angle to the main body of the bus cover. Ledges are formed integrally into the bus cover on opposing sides of the spring. The ledges prevent overstressing the spring while inserting the foot during installation of the circuit breaker.

  • Patent number: 5718481
Abstract: A seat recliner mechanism particularly suited for use in the front seats of pickup trucks and two door vehicles, as well as in the rear seats of vans, minivans, sport utility vehicles, station wagons and the like. A single release handle is provided to adjust the reclination angle of the seatback as well as to dump the seatback to a forwardly folded position. The present seat recliner mechanism enables the reclining and forward folding motion to operate about a common axis or independent axes. Additionally, the present seat recliner mechanism is capable of latching the seatback in the forward folded position, thus making the mechanism convenient for use with removable seats. More over, the same release handle may also be used to release the seatback from the forwardly folded position.

  • Patent number: 5681079
Abstract: A headrest folding apparatus is disclosed for use in a vehicle seat of the type having a fold-down seatback panel and a headrest. The headrest folding apparatus is operable for permitting the vehicle operator to release a headrest latch mechanism via actuation of a latch release mechanism for permitting angular movement of the headrest from a normal use position to a dumped position. The headrest folding apparatus also includes a movement coordinating mechanism that is operative for causing movement of the headrest from its use position to its dumped position in response to movement of the seatback panel from an upright position to a forwardly folded position. Furthermore, the headrest folding apparatus is operative for coordinating actuation of a seatback latch mechanism in concert with the headrest latch mechanism. A latch release mechanism operably interconnects the headrest latch mechanism to the seatback latch mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5679191
Abstract: An improved method for fabricating trailer length platform flooring from wooden blanks comprises selecting kiln dried lumber having a predetermined width and thickness and exhibiting preestablished strength and durability characteristics. The lumber is inspected for the presence of unacceptable defects and the defects are cut out to form defect-free blanks of varying lengths. The blanks are aligned successively in spaced end to end relationship with the trailing end of one blank facing the leading end of the next successive blank. The facing ends are then machined with interlockable vertically extending fingers, adhesive is applied to at least one of the ends, and the fingers are pressed together with a predetermined pressure to bond the ends of the blanks together. These steps are repeated resulting in a continuously growing composite plank comprised of end-to-end joined blanks.

  • Patent number: 4122441
Abstract: A real-time error detection system for bi-phase or similarly encoded digital data is disclosed. Bi-phase or similarly encoded data, which utilizes two transitions in a bit cell for either a binary "1" or a binary "0" value, and one transition in a bit cell for the other binary value inherently generates an even number of transitions of the binary value represented by the two transitions between the occurrence of the other binary value represented by one transition. Monitoring for the number of transitions of the binary value represented by two transitions provides an indication of the occurrence of an odd number of transitions. This represents an error condition. The system utilizes a logic circuit responsive to the binary "1" and binary "0" data clock retrieved from the self-clocking bi-phase encoded data. When an error condition is detected, an error indicating signal is generated.
