    Abstract: Provided is a method for providing positioning of user equipment (UE). UE receives configuration information for transmission of Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resources for positioning to be associated with a higher layer parameter, which has a plurality of values respectively corresponding to a plurality of transmit (Tx) timing offsets of the UE. The UE transmits SRS resources for positioning associated with the higher layer parameter according to the configuration information to a plurality of TRPs. The plurality of values of the higher layer parameter are used for calculating positioning measurements between the UE and the plurality of TRPs based on the plurality of Tx timing offsets of the UE, and the calculated positioning measurements are used for determining the position of the UE.
