Abstract: A method for personalized virtual channel management includes: determining whether a received command is associated with virtual channel switching, wherein a network-based multimedia reproduction system is in mode of a first channel zone of a personalized channel zone; if yes, checking whether a channel value corresponding to the command exists in the first channel zone; if yes, executing an application corresponding to the channel value in the first channel zone to retrieve digital contents and display the digital contents on a screen of the network-based multimedia reproduction system; determining a desired channel zone if the command is associated with switching of the personalized channel zone; checking whether at least one log-in command matches log-in information of the desired channel zone; if yes, switching the network-based multimedia reproduction system to a mode of the desired channel zone in the personalized channel zone.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for implementing an icon board based operation interface thereof are provided. In the method, a plurality of areas within a screen frame on a screen of the electronic device are arranged for respectively displaying a plurality of function boards, in which each of the function boards is corresponding to one of a plurality of main functions supported by the electronic device. For each main function including at least one sub-function, a sub-function icon thereof is generated according to a relevant historical operating information, and a main function icon of the main function and the sub-function icon of each sub-function are displayed together on the function board of the main function.

Abstract: A method of playing an internet video for an electronic device is disclosed. The method includes receiving data associated with the internet video from a network, wherein the video data includes information of a highest resolution and a lowest resolution of the internet video; determining a first display resolution range according to a network bandwidth utilized by the electronic device; and selecting a first resolution for playing the internet video according to the first display resolution range and whether the electronic device has stored a complete data associated with the internet video with the highest resolution.

Abstract: A method for providing channel information is illustrated. The method includes: receiving a command for switching channels when a first channel content is displayed on a display unit; determining whether the command indicates a continuous switching mode or a discrete switching mode; displaying the first channel content and descriptive information of a plurality of channels being switched until a second channel among the channels being switched is selected at the continuous switching mode; displaying preview information of the second channel to replace the first channel content and loading the second channel content when the second channel is selected at the continuous switching mode or when the second channel is switched according to the command at the discrete switching mode; displaying the second channel content when loading completed. The data quantity of the preview information is larger than that of the description information.

Abstract: A method for presenting application list is disclosed, which is applied to an electronic device. The method includes activating a list arrangement program which reads several applications and generates categorized application list accordingly. Each application is associated with one of the categories, and includes objects representing the application. The categorized application list includes several groups, each of them includes a category name of one category and the objects associating with one or more applications under the category. The method further includes receiving the control command for displaying one of the groups at the index region of the user interface of the electronic device. The index region is arranged at the side of the user interface. Thus, an application list which is categorized may be provided for improving the convenience of accessing applications.

A data line, source and drain are formed in each pixel area. A first passivation layer covers the data line, source and drain. A common line is formed on the first passivation layer and overlaps with at least a portion of the data line. A common electrode is formed on and electrically connected with the common line. A second passivation layer covers the common electrode and common line. A contact window is formed in the second passivation layer above the drain to expose the drain. A pixel electrode is electrically connected with the drain through the contact window.

Next, it is determined whether a confirmation input signal inputted to the corresponding control area of the touch-sensitive screen is detected.
