A target cloud block storage is created for storing the Live CD image. The target cloud block storage is mounted to a host machine that hosts the target virtual machine to cause the host machine to download the Live CD image from an image repository to store to the target cloud block storage, mount the target cloud block storage to the target virtual machine, and boot the target virtual machine via the target cloud block storage.

    Abstract: This application sets forth techniques for transfer of a cellular wireless service plan associated with a SIM or an eSIM between non-linked wireless devices. A target wireless device broadcasts an advertisement beacon requesting transfer of a cellular wireless service plan. After successful authentication with a source wireless device, using a manually entered verification code or a QR verification code, the target wireless device selects a cellular wireless service plan to transfer. The source wireless device obtains a transfer token from an MNO entitlement server for transfer of the selected cellular wireless service plan and provides the transfer token to the target wireless device via a secure, short distance Bluetooth connection or, alternatively, embedded in an encrypted QR code. The target wireless device uses the transfer token to obtain a new eSIM associated with transfer of the cellular wireless service plan.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal composition includes at least one liquid crystal compound of a general formula (I), at least one elastic constant regulator of a general formula (II), and at least one chiral compound. A light modulating device with the liquid crustal composition has at least two stable states in the absence of applied voltage, at least one state allowing incident light to pass through substantially (transparent state), and at least one state scattering incident light substantially (foggy state). The transparent state and the foggy state may be switched by means of an external electric field. The transparent state is clear and highly transmissive, while the foggy state provides privacy protection. By introducing a bimesogenic compound and adjusting the helical pitch of the liquid crystal composition system to P?3.5 ?m, the uniformity of the planar arrangement of the liquid crystal composition molecules is improved and texture defects are reduced.

The flame retardant prepared according to the present invention achieves superior flame retardancy at a lower loading content.
