    Abstract: A disk drive carrier assembly includes a disk drive (80), a bracket (10), and a carrier (20). The bracket includes a pair of parallel side plates (11) with a slideway defined therebetween for guiding the disk drive in a direction parallel to the side plates into the bracket. A securing opening (118) is defined in one of the side plates. The carrier includes a tray (30) for receiving the disk drive. A handle (60) is pivotably attached to the tray at an axis parallel to the side plates. A stop (68) is formed on an end of the handle for engaging with the securing opening of the bracket. A locking member (75) is rotatably attached to a free end of the handle from an inner side thereof.

The latch member depresses the second end of the clipping plate thereby forcing the second end of the clipping plate to abut against the sidewall of the mounting bracket.

    Abstract: A supporting apparatus for mounting electrical components, includes a plate, a supporting member and a clamping member. A through hole is defined in the plate. The supporting member includes a shank with a slot defined therein and a cap formed on one end of the shank. The shank is inserted in the hole of the plate from the bottom of the plate to protrude over the top of the plate with the cap resisting against the bottom of the plate. The clamping member defines a locking hole. The clamping member is placed on the top of the plate with the shank inserted in the locking hole of the clamping member. The clamping member is rotatable about the shank between a first position where the shank is movable relative to the clamping member in a lengthwise direction thereof, and a second position where the clamping member is locklingly engaged in the at least one slot of the shank.
