    Abstract: An electronic device equipped with programmable key layout in provided, which includes a microprocessor, a sensor point array assembly, and a memory module. The sensor point array assembly is electrically coupled to the microprocessor through an interface circuit. A plurality of sensor points is distributed over the sensor point array assembly. The memory module stores a keymap table, and at least a sensor point grid defined by a user and a key code corresponding to the sensor point grid are written into the keymap table. The sensor point grid includes at least one of the sensor points of the sensor point array assembly. When one or more of the sensor points of the sensor point array assembly is triggered, the microprocessor differentiates the key code corresponding to the sensor point grid including the triggered sensor point according to the keymap table in the memory module.

    Abstract: Provided are methods, kits and arrays for carrying out relative measurement of an analyte of interest in a biological sample. As specifically exemplified, there is an array of stabilized, desiccated cDNA preparations, each at a defined location within the array, where those cDNAs were prepared from cells treated with a particular condition believed to modulate at least one gene of interest. Detection can be via Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction using an appropriate reaction mixture and primers specific for a coding sequence of interest, and a greater relative amount of a RT PCR product from a control preparation reflects greater gene expression in response to the test condition whereas a lower amount of RT PCR product reflects an inhibitory effect on expression of the coding sequence of interest as a result of the application of the test condition.

According to the present method, the formulas of the prediction modes of a 4*4 block in intra frame prediction are expanded and applied to 4*4 blocks or 8*8 blocks in a 16*16 block. The prediction modes of the 4*4 blocks or 8*8 blocks in the 16*16 block are determined within one pass, or the prediction modes of the 8*8 blocks in the 16*16 block are determined within three passes. Accordingly, the operation of determining the prediction mode of each 4*4 block is saved, and the time for processing intra frame prediction of the 4*4 blocks is effectively reduced. Eventually, the efficiency of image processing is improved.
