    Abstract: A system for refrigerant leakage detection includes one or more sensors configured to detect one or more parameters of a building system including a refrigerant. The system further includes one or more storage devices storing instructions thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive sensor data from the one or more sensors; apply the sensor data to a long short-term memory (LSTM) model to generate predicted sensor data corresponding to the one or more sensors; receive subsequent sensor data from the one or more sensors; compare the predicted sensor data to the subsequent sensor data; determine that the building system has a refrigerant leakage based on the comparison of the predicted sensor data to the subsequent sensor data; and, responsive to determining that the building system has the refrigerant leakage, take an action to address the refrigerant leakage.

    Abstract: Disclosed a MAX-Ag electrically conductive composite coating and a preparation method thereof. The electrically conductive composite coating comprises a MAX phase and an Ag phase. The chemical formula of the MAX phase is Mn+1AXn, where M is a transition metal element, A is an Al element, X is a C or N element, and n is an integer of 1 to 3. The MAX phase is in a lath-like structure, the Ag phase is in a nano-twinned structure, and the Ag phase is aggregated at a grain boundary of the MAX phase. The electrically conductive composite coating as a whole is in an Ag-wrapped MAX phase structure. In the present disclosure, a grain shape heterogeneous design is performed on the MAX phase coating by Ag element doping. The Ag doping affects the growth of the MAX phase grain, so that the MAX phase grain is in a lath-like structure.
