The junction box facilitating wiring comprises a box body, a first upper cover and a second upper cover, wherein the first upper cover and the second upper cover are both covered and connected to a top of the box body, and the second upper cover is rotatably connected to the first upper cover; a damping structure is provided at a rotatable joint between the first upper cover and the second upper cover, and the damping structure is configured to keep the second upper cover at a current position when no external force is applied. When wiring is needed, the user can flip open the second upper cover. After stopping the opening action, the damping structure enables the second upper cover to remain in its current position, allowing the user to perform the wiring operation.

    Abstract: A coating composition comprising 20-38.5% of an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic (co)polymer; 0.5-2.9% of a water-soluble alkali metal silicate; an aqueous solution of a water-soluble non-alkali metal salt, comprising non-alkali metal ions; and 0-2% of a microfiller, where the listed percents are dry-weight based on weight of the composition. The aqueous solution of the non-alkali metal salt is present in an amount to provide a dry-weight ratio of the non-alkali metal ions to the acrylic (co)polymer of 0.13-3.3% and a dry-weight ratio of the non-alkali metal ions to the water-soluble alkali metal silicate of 1.4-42%. A method includes (i) admixing the aqueous dispersion of the acrylic (co)polymer with the aqueous solution of the water-soluble non-alkali metal salt (optionally, adding 0.06-0.52 wt % of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, a salt or mixtures thereof; (ii) further admixing the admixture obtained from step (i) with the water-soluble alkali metal silicate and any optional microfiller.

    Abstract: Described herein are cyclic polymers, including ultrahigh-molar-mass (UHMM, >2 million Da) cyclic polymers. These cyclic polymers can be prepared via catalyst-mediated (e.g., superbase-mediated) ring-opening polymerization followed by macromolecular cyclization triggered by protic quenching. This proton-triggered linear-to-cyclic topological transformation enables selective, linear-polymer-like access to desired cyclic polymers, including those with UHMM surpassing 2 MDa and/or possessing a dispersity (Ð) of 1.4 or less. In addition, these methods can eliminate the need for stringent conditions such as high dilution to prevent or suppress linear polymer contaminants. These cyclic polymers can exhibit not only much enhanced thermostability and mechanical toughness, and can also be quantitatively recycled back to monomer under mild conditions.

    Abstract: Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) have attracted increasing interest as sustainable plastics because of their biorenewability and biodegradability in the ambient environment. However, current semicrystalline PHAs face three long-standing challenges to broad commercial implementation and application: lack of melt processability, mechanical brittleness, and unrealized recyclability, the last of which is essential for achieving a circular plastics economy. Here we report a synthetic PHA platform that addresses the origin of thermal instability by eliminating ?-hydrogens in the PHA repeat units and thus precluding facile cis-elimination during thermal degradation. This simple ?,?-disubstitution in PHAs enhances the thermal stability so substantially that the PHAs become melt-processable. Synergistically, this structural modification also endows the PHAs with the mechanical toughness, intrinsic crystallinity, and closed-loop chemical recyclability.

A three-phase alternating-current core and a direct-current bias core are used to form a magnetically coupled air gap to form a traveling wave magnetic field. The traveling wave magnetic field acts on a superconducting stator to generate a direct-current voltage output. The present invention achieves volt-level direct-current voltage output from superconducting flux pumps, reduces the power supply cost of high-temperature superconducting magnets, and enables rapid charging of superconducting coils and operation in a continuous current mode.
