    Abstract: A dish washing machine including a housing having an interior wash space and a liquid inlet. A spray nozzle sprays the liquid onto dishes. The machine further includes a heating tank for heating the liquid which is supplied to the rotating spray nozzle. A heat exchange system transfers heat from the liquid heated by the heating tank to the liquid added from the liquid inlet. The heat exchange system comprising a pipe system defining a first path therethrough and a second path therethrough, with the first heat exchange system transferring heat from liquid in the second path to liquid in the first path. A first surface portion of the pipe system of the first path engaging the liquid in the first path having a greater thermal conductivity than a second surface portion of the pipe system of the second path engaging the liquid in the second path.

    Abstract: A method and a sensor for detecting L-arginine are provided. The method includes synthesizing ferrocene-functionalized hexadecapeptide dithiocyclopentane (FC-P16 Peptide), preparing a polypeptide composite membrane-modified electrode (FC-P16 Peptide/AuE), detecting L-Arg and other steps. The results show that the polypeptide composite membrane-modified electrode (FC-P16 Peptide/AuE) exhibits excellent electrochemical response properties to L-Arg. In 10 mmol/L phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH=7.4), the DPV response peak current of the polypeptide composite membrane-modified electrode has an excellent linear relationship with the L-Arg concentration of 1.0×10?13 mol/L to 1.0×10?7 mol/L, with a detection limit of 1.0×10?13 mol/L. With prominent reproducibility, repeatability and selectivity, the modified electrode has potential application in life science and nutritional health.

    Abstract: An approach is disclosed that determines an amount of time before a webpage is ready to use by a user by performing various actions. The approach captures a recording of the webpage from an invocation of the webpage for a period of time sufficient to load completely load the webpage with the capturing resulting in sequenced image frames. An AI system provides a loading point in the sequenced image frames based on an analysis of the frames input to the trained AI system. Image diversity and saturation measurements are calculated on consecutive image frames from the sequenced image frames resulting in an image change analysis. Native webpage events and times are detected from webpage characteristics gathered from the captured digital recording. The amount of time is then calculated based on the loading point from the AI system, the image change analysis; and the webpage events and their corresponding times.

    Abstract: The disclosure discloses an L-aspartate ?-decarboxylase mutant and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of enzyme engineering. In the disclosure, lysine at position 221 of L-aspartate ?-decarboxylase is mutated to arginine, glycine at position 369 is mutated to alanine, and the obtained new mutant enzymes have better temperature tolerance and are beneficial to industrial production. The K221R and G369A recombinant strains are subjected to high-density fermentation, and with sodium L-aspartate as a substrate, a whole cell catalytic reaction is carried out to prepare ?-alanine. Compared with a chemical production method, the method has the advantages that the production process is safe and clean, and has no environmental pollution. Compared with a pure enzyme catalysis method, the method has the advantages that the operation is simple and convenient. The yield of the final product ?-alanine reaches 91% and 90% respectively, and the concentration reaches 162.15 g/L and 160.42 g/L respectively.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) which comprises a target-dependent on-switch CAR. The CAR of the invention may reduce cytotoxicity towards normal cells and improve CAR-T safety. CAR molecules were designed using the transmembrane and juxtamembrane motifs of the IL2 receptor ? chain (IL2R? or IL2Rb), the L ow-Density Lipoprotein Receptor (LDLR), the Seizure 6-like Protein 2 (SEZ6L2), and degradation sequence (PSKFFSQL) of IL2R?, which resulted in greatly reduced CAR expression at the cell surface in the absence of target antigen, while retaining downstream activation ability in response to antigen-expressing target cells. In the absence of target antigen, CAR surface expression is undetectable. The present application has shown that primary T cells expressing these surface-unstable CAR variants are able to elicit antigen-dependent target cell killing. By limiting CAR activity in this way, the present application can reduce therapeutic toxicity and T cell exhaustion.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an advancement in the art of cardiac pacemakers. The invention provides a novel and unobvious pacemaker system that comprises at least one pacemaker and that is, to a large extent, self-controlled, allows for long-term implantation in a patient, and minimizes current inconveniences and problems associated with battery life. The invention further includes a mechanism in which at least two pacemakers are implanted in a patient, and in which the pacemakers communicate with each other at the time of a given pacing or respiratory event, without any required external input, and adjust pacing parameters to respond to the patient's need for blood flow. The invention further provides a novel design for a pacemaker in which the pacemaker electrode is connected to the pacemaker body by a lead that is configured to allow the pacemaker to lie parallel to the epicardial surface and to reduce stress on the pacemaker and heart tissue.
