Abstract: A method of displaying images on an electronic device includes the following blocks. A first image is displayed on a display. The first image has a first edge and a second edge opposite to the first edge. A second image is decoded and loaded to a virtual position behind the first image. The first image is divided into a plurality of rectangular areas. The first image is cropped in the plurality of rectangular areas in sequence along a direction from the first edge to the second edge. Each of the plurality of rectangular areas fades to transparency. The second image is shown on the display.

Abstract: A control circuit and method for a LED driver accurately control the output current of the LED driver by adjusting a reference voltage or a feedback voltage according to the input voltage of the LED driver such that the output current decreases with the decrease of the input voltage. Therefore, it enhances the efficiency of the LED driver and maximizes the battery use time of a battery powered system.

Abstract: A method is used for data transmission between a server and a client. The method includes the following steps. The server receives a request from the client through a network. The server determines if the client has access authorization. The server creates a background process when acquiring the access authorization. The server receives a data block and a status checking request from the client. The background process sends a data report to the client for each data block received. The server submits a status report in response to the status checking request.

The API module requests a source management module to connect to a plurality of multimedia resources. A plurality of multimedia sub-modules of the source management module retrieves the corresponding multimedia resources to the at least one GUI application module through the API module and displaying on a display.

A file header is read and an original checksum value is received from the file header. Patch files from a data package are written to a data area of the local storage. A checksum value of the patch files written in the data area is calculated. The checksum value with the original checksum value is compared to determine integrality of the patch files.

Abstract: A peripheral component interconnect express (PCIE) data transmission system and link state managing method thereof are disclosed. The PCIE data transmission system includes an upstream device, a downstream device and a link. When the link is in a first link state, the downstream device and the upstream device transmit data normally via the link. When the upstream device outputs a turn-off signal to the downstream device, a time period is counted. The downstream device outputs an acknowledging signal to response the turn-off signal. If the upstream device does not receive the acknowledging signal within the time period, the link is transited from the first link state to second link state to remove the power of the link.

The connection management server is connected to the back-end network for managing a content connection between the content clusters and the wide area network.
