  • Publication number: 20090225685
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for a telephony server to provide services based upon a call from a user. A user communicates with the telephony server over a telephone communication device. The telephony server retrieves a voice application over a computer network from a remote web site and uses it to have a speech-based conversation with the user. The conversation results in obtaining service data from the user. The retrieved voice application performs the requested service based upon the user-provided service data. • Publication number: 20080094331
Abstract: A driving method for reducing the color shift suitable for driving a display panel is disclosed. The display panel includes at least one scan line, at least one data line, and at least one pixel unit electrically connected to the scan line and the data line. The driving method includes the following steps. First, turn on the pixel unit by the scan line during a frame period. Transmit a frame signal to the pixel unit by the data line during the frame period as the pixel unit is turned on. Turn on the pixel unit by the scan line between the present frame period and the next frame period. Transmit a revising signal to the pixel unit by the data line between the present frame period and the next frame period as the pixel unit is turned on, so as to reduce the color shift of the pixel unit.

  • Publication number: 20070290978
Abstract: A timing controller including a memory and a memory controller is provided. The memory includes an odd-field block and an even-field block. The memory controller is coupled to the memory and controls the memory. When two of a first, a second and a third gate output enable signals output by the timing controller are active, the memory is controlled to output the data of the (I-1)th scan line stored in the odd-field block. When one of the first, the second and the third gate output enable signals output by the timing controller is active, and the other two signals are inactive, the memory is controlled to output the data of Jth scan line stored in the even-field block and write an odd-field field data of the (J+1)th scan line to the odd-field block and write an even-field field data of the (J+1)th scan line to the even-field block.

  • Publication number: 20070139342
Abstract: A circuit for amplifying a display signal transmitted to a repair line by using a non-inverting amplifier is disclosed, which comprises a voltage follower, a non-inverting amplifier, a repair line, a thin film transistor (TFT) and a liquid crystal (LC) capacitor. The voltage follower is electrically connected to a data driver chip to thereby provide a display signal to the non-inverting amplifier. The non-inverting amplifier amplifies the display signal to thus obtain an amplified display signal, and transmits the amplified display signal to the TFT and the LC capacitor through the repair line. The amplified display signal is kept at a desired voltage level when the LC capacitor receives the amplified display signal.
