    Abstract: A laser cutting and engraving machine with a fire safety mechanism, comprising a machine body, a laser engraving mechanism provided in the machine body, and a work platform. The laser engraving mechanism is mounted on a work track and is movable along the work track to cut or engrave a workpiece provided on the work platform. The fire safety mechanism is provided in the machine body. The fire safety mechanism comprises a fire source sensing unit, a fire extinguishing unit, and a control unit, in which the control unit is electrically connected to the fire source sensing unit and the fire extinguishing unit, and it receives and processes a signal delivered from the fire source sensing unit to determine if the machine body is ignited and thereby controlling the activation of the fire extinguishing unit.

    Abstract: A varistor composition free of Sb comprising: (a) ZnO; (b) B—Bi—Zn—Pr glass, or B—Bi—Zn—La glass, or a mixture thereof; (c) a cobalt compound, a chromium compound, a nickel compound, a manganese compound, or mixtures thereof; (d) SnO2; and (e) an aluminum compound, a silver compound, or a mixture thereof. By adjusting the ratio between the components, the varistor composition may be made into a multilayer varistor with inner electrodes having a low concentration of noble metals at a sintering temperature less than 1200° C. The multilayer varistor made from the varistor composition has good maximum surge current, good ESD withstand ability, and low fabrication cost.

    Abstract: A system for converting fuel may include a first moving bed reactor, a second reactor, and a non-mechanical valve. The first moving bed reactor may include at least one tapered section and multiple injection gas ports. The multiple injection gas ports may be configured to deliver a fuel to the first moving bed reactor. The first moving bed reactor may be configured to reduce an oxygen carrying material with a fuel by defining a countercurrent flowpath for the fuel relative to the oxygen carrying material. The second reactor may communicate with the first moving bed reactor and may be operable to receive an oxygen source. The second reactor may be configured to regenerate the reduced oxygen carrying material by oxidation.

    Abstract: A system for converting carbonaceous fuels is provided. The system includes a gaseous fuel conversion reactor, a solid fuel conversion reactor, and a fuel pretreatment fluidized bed reactor disposed between the gaseous fuel conversion reactor and the solid fuel conversion reactor. The fuel pretreatment fluidized bed reactor devolatilizes a solid fuel using heat to produce an off-gas and a devolatilized solid fuel. The gaseous fuel conversion reactor converts the off-gas from the fuel pretreatment fluidized bed reactor to a product gas stream comprising carbon dioxide and water. The solid fuel conversion reactor receives a mixture of oxygen carrier solids and devolatilized solid fuel from the pretreatment reactor discharge and reduces the devolatilized solid fuel with the oxygen carrier solids to convert the devolatilized solid fuel to an intermediate gas.

    Abstract: An electronic package is provided, including: a substrate having opposite first and second surfaces; at least a first electronic element disposed on the first surface of the substrate; a first encapsulant encapsulating the first electronic element; at least a second electronic element and a frame disposed on the second surface of the substrate; and a second encapsulant encapsulating the second electronic element. By disposing the first and second electronic elements on the first and second surfaces of the substrate, respectively, the invention allows a required number of electronic elements to be mounted on the substrate without the need to increase the surface area of the substrate.
