    Abstract: A technique for allocating a global resource in a distributed grid environment includes a master resource manager (MRM), and a plurality of slave resource managers (SRMs) each configured to allocate a global resource within a respectively controlled region of a distributed grid computing environment. The MRM receives from each SRM use data and demand data associated with the global resource by each consumer in the respective region controlled by the respective SRM. The MRM then computes an allocation of the global resource for each consumer and for each region based on the use data and the demand data. The MRM then communicates to each SRM an amount of the global resource allocated to each consumer in each respective region controlled by a respective SRM and a total allocation of the global resource for the region controlled by the respective SRM.

In response to a pairing request from a mobile terminal, an inquiry signal is sent to the mobile terminal inquiring as to a pairing mode required. One of several pairing modes can be selected, each pairing mode corresponding to a preset pairing password and at least one vehicle-mounted system accessible under the pairing mode. Upon matching the pairing password from the mobile terminal with a device-stored preset pairing password corresponding to the selected pairing mode, a wireless connection between the vehicle-mounted device and the mobile terminal is made, allowing the mobile terminal to access the at least one vehicle-mounted system accessible under the selected pairing mode.

    Abstract: In this invention, a high-accuracy jaw motion tracking system and method using the same are disclosed. The jaw motion tracking system of the invention mainly comprises an eyewear facebow static positioning device, a lower jaw dynamic tracking device and a stereo-vision charge-coupled device (CCD) and can provide information regarding the locations and relative movement of lower and upper jaws. The eyewear facebow static positioning device has several passive and active reflective markers. The lower jaw dynamic tracking device equips with a plural of lightweight light emitting devices. Using OpenCV-based self-developed algorithm and post-iterative compensator, the disclosed system can record the dynamical jaw movement with a high accuracy. The disclosed jaw motion tracking system and related method have minimal occlusal disturbance and provide smooth motion-tracking performance. The disclosed system can be used in clinical dentistry.
