Abstract: A broadcast communication system includes a plurality of transmitter tower stations configured to exchange inter-tower communication (ITC) signals to support a wireless ITC network (ITCN). Each TTS includes a transmitter (Tx) antenna, at least one receiver (Rx) antenna, and an ITCN server configured to form outgoing ITC signals for transmitting with the Tx antenna and to process incoming ITC signals received with the at least one Rx antenna. Each of the TTSs is configured to multiplex outgoing ITC signals with broadcast services signals prior to the transmitting and to detect the incoming ITC signals in a wireless signal received with the at least one Rx antenna. Several ITCN-integrating broadcast systems operating in a same or different frequency band may be interconnected to support an integrated inter-tower wireless communication network.

Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and capturing image data. The system, via processing at an electronic control unit (ECU) of image data captured by the camera, detects an object at a first orientation relative to camera. A first local binary pattern represents in binary form a first portion of the image data that includes the detected object. The system detects the object at a second orientation relative to camera. A second local binary pattern represents in binary form a second portion of the image data that includes the detected object. The second orientation is different from the first orientation and the second local binary pattern is different than the first local binary pattern. The system groups the first and second local binary patterns into a common histogram bin. The system classifies the detected object based at least in part on the common histogram bin.

Abstract: Disclosed are an underground engineering rock mass shear simulation test device, a test method and a test machine. The test method includes: setting different test conditions by a controller to perform cyclic shear test at high temperature, fracture shear seepage test, granite uniaxial compression test at high temperature and granite fracture shear test under constant normal stiffness boundary conditions at room temperature. The electric heating wire assembly, the fan assembly and the environmental box are combined to flexibly and uniformly heat the samples placed in the upper shear box and the lower shear box. In terms of shear-seepage test, this scheme proposes a second sample placing mechanism that realizes sealing through sealing capsule and sealing capsule pressing plate. It realizes stable sealing and facilitates monitoring and debugging of seepage parameters.

Abstract: A double data rate dual-in-line memory module (DDR DIMM), a memory system and an operation method thereof using a data buffer for error correction are disclosed. In an example, the DDR DIMM includes a first channel including a first group of DRAM chips and a first data buffer corresponding to the first group of DRAM chips; wherein: the first data buffer is configured to obtain all write data signals input to the first channel, encode write data of all the write data signals to generate a first ECC, and send the first ECC and the write data to the first group of DRAM chips in a write operation. The disclosure can realize excellent error detection and error correction within the memory module and can greatly reduce bit error rate of the entire memory module.
