    Abstract: A control circuit includes a timeout circuit configured to receive a first control signal. The timeout circuit asserts a timeout output signal on a timeout circuit output responsive to an expiration of a time period following assertion of the first control signal. A counter circuit has an input coupled to the timeout circuit output and has a counter circuit output. Responsive to assertion of the first control signal, the counter circuit selectively increments an output count value on the counter circuit output responsive to the timeout output signal having a first logic state or decrements the output count value on the counter circuit output responsive to the timeout output signal having a second logic state. A comparator circuit has a control input coupled to the counter circuit output. The comparator circuit adjusts a magnitude of a reference signal responsive to the output count value from the counter circuit.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a preparation method of an MOFs-coated cardiomyocyte core-shell structure, and relates to a method for coating cardiomyocytes. The present disclosure aims to solve problems that bio-hybrid microrobots in the prior art lack physical protection and nutrient supply channels and have short life cycles. The method includes the steps of: 1) cleaning; 2) adding trypsin in PBS; 3) digesting; 4) centrifuging; 5) culturing; 6) passaging; 7) preparing a Zn(NO3)2·6H2O aqueous solution and a 2-methylimidazole aqueous solution; and 8) adding the Zn(NO3)2·6H2O aqueous solution and the 2-methylimidazole aqueous solution for culture to obtain the MOFs-coated cardiomyocyte core-shell structure. After 7 days of culture under the same culture conditions, cardiomyocytes having an MOFs shell layer have significantly higher cell density than the cardiomyocytes. An MOFs-coated cardiomyocyte core-shell structure can be obtained according to the present disclosure.

A medium in the back cavity of the sensor may be replaced by inflating, deflating and filling water through the overflow holes, to achieve impedance matching with external environments. When the back cavity is inflated, the sensor serves as a fiber-optic microphone, and when the back cavity is deflated and filled with water, the sensor serves as a fiber-optic hydrophone. The working states could be switched flexibly to achieve a working mode like a swim bladder.

The communal computing device may use a sensor such as a camera to capture images of a person and obtain an identifier from a personal device such as a smartphone. A cloud-based provider that is trusted by both the communal computing device and the personal device may associate both the image and the identifier of the personal device with the same user identity. Obtaining the user identity from multiple, different sources provides a secure technique for the communal computing device to recognize a user without the user directly interacting with the communal computing device. If the sensor no longer detects the user or the personal device is no longer detected, then the communal computing device may log off the user. The personal device may be used to confirm log off.
