Abstract: A method for searching network carrier using an electronic device includes receiving a request for a voice service from a user. The electronic device requests a server for a network carrier through which the electronic device can be connected to a network providing the voice service. A message is received from the server. When the received message comprises the network carrier, a connection is established between the network and the electronic device using the network carrier. The voice service is provided for the user through the network.
