  • Publication number: 20200343673
Abstract: An assembly including a plug connector (22) and a conductive cage (20). The plug connector includes a housing (44), a projection (66) extending therefrom, and a paddle card (60) mounted therein. The cage (20) includes a cage housing (26) forming an inner area and at least one cap (64) forming a keyway (68). The housing (44) of the plug connector (22) is received in the inner area (36) of the cage (20) and the projection (66) of the plug connector (22) is received in the keyway (68) of the cage (20). The cage (20) may include a plurality of spring fingers therein which engage with a conductive bezel (122). The cage (20) provides EMI shielding for the plug connector (22).

  • Patent number: 10815627
Abstract: A method for improving the seismic performance of bridges by utilizing the beam body and an energy dissipation and seismic mitigation bridge bearing, which can effectively eliminate the harmful vibration of the bridge pier in the inherent frequency band, thus reducing the stress of the pier body and improving the seismic performance of the bridge pier without introducing external additional mass and looking for an installation space on the pier. The method includes the following steps: obtain the natural frequency fi, the equivalent modal mass Mi and the modal stiffness Ki of the pier in the longitudinal or transverse direction by numerical modal analysis or experimental modal test; determine the mass mi of the beam body; calculate the connection stiffness ki and the connection damping ci between the beam body and the pier; select the bearing system with above connection stiffness ki and the connection damping ci.

  • Patent number: 5449189
Abstract: A bicycle with a delayed-return suspension fork with two shock-absorbing units. Each shock-absorbing unit has an upper tube assembly telescopically received in a lower tube assembly with an inner tube assembly slidably retained within the lower tube assembly. An elongate cylinder extends upwardly from a base of the lower tube assembly. An elongate piston extends downwardly from a top of the upper tube assembly and is slidingly received in a distal end of the elongate cylinder. A series of resilient tubular cushions are mounted about the elongate piston. The inner tube assembly defines a chamber in order to contain a fluid. A conduit, a washer, a spring and a positioning seat are contained. When the upper tube assembly travels into the lower tube assembly, fluid is urged through the conduit, the fluid further urges the washer, spring and positioning seat away from the conduit permitting rapid passage of the fluid.
