The wireless device transmits first feedback for the data in a downlink control channel to the at least one wireless device and transmits second feedback for the data in an uplink control channel to a base station. The base station receives the feedback in an uplink control channel and transmits a retransmission of the data to the wireless device in response to receiving the feedback.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for group semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) for path diversity. A method that may be performed by a node includes configuring one or more groups of user equipments (UEs) with one or more SPS resources. The node sends a downlink control information (DCI) to activate one of the SPS resources for one of the groups of UEs and transmits data to the group of UEs using the activated SPS resource. A first UE may receive data from the node using the activated SPS resource and retransmit the data to the second UE. The first helping UE and the second targeted UE may be identified based on the higher layer configuration with the SPS resources, based on information in the DCI, and/or based on information sent with the data.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sending a retransmission via a sidelink wireless communication channel. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a first data transmission. The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a signal indicating to retransmit at least a portion of the first data transmission to a second UE. The method further includes transmitting, to the second UE, based at least in part on the signal, a second data transmission via one or more resources, the second data transmission comprising at least the portion of the first data transmission.

A method that may be performed by a base station (BS) includes configuring one or more groups of user equipments (UEs) of a group of UEs with a configuration of one or more resources. The one or more resources includes one or more sidelink channels between each of the UEs in the group of UEs and an uplink channel between the BS and each of the UEs in the group of UEs. The BS receives data from at least one UE in the group of UEs via at least one of the uplink channels, wherein the data is associated with a different UE.
