    Abstract: A high voltage (HV) converter implemented on a printed circuit board (PCB) includes a double diffused metal oxide semiconductor (DMOS) package comprising a lead frame and a main DMOS chip. The lead frame includes a gate section electrically connected to a gate electrode of the main DMOS chip, a source section electrically connected to a source electrode of the main DMOS chip and a drain section electrically connected to a drain electrode of the main DMOS chip. The PCB layout includes a large area source copper pad attached to and overlapping the source section of the DMOS package to facilitate cooling and a small area drain copper pad attached to and overlapping the drain section of the DMOS package to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise.

    Abstract: An underwater rescue system, including a submersible and a rescue cage. The submersible includes a housing, a turntable and a motor. The turntable is rotatably arranged at an outer surface of the housing. The motor is fixed on the housing and connected to the turntable. The rescue cage includes a connecting rod, a first lifebuoy, a second lifebuoy and an air charging device. A lower end of the connecting rod is provided with an electromagnetic chuck attracting the turntable. An upper end of the connecting rod is connected to the first lifebuoy. A bottom of the first lifebuoy is provided with a load-bearing net. A side of the first lifebuoy is connected to the second lifebuoy by a net bag. The air charging device communicates with the first and second lifebuoys and is configured to charge air to the first and second lifebuoys.

The candidate key image frames as well as the adjacent frames that meet a second selection condition are selected as key image frames. The key image frames are displayed on a graphical user interface. Annotation information about the one or more target objects is display through the graphical user interface.

Nullifying unnecessary instructions include overwriting a detected unnecessary instruction with a no operation (NOP) instruction. In another example, nullifying unnecessary instructions may include writing a value to a 1-bit instruction memory. Each bit of the 1-bit instruction memory may be associated with a particular instruction of the draw call. If the 1-bit instruction memory has a true value (e.g., 1), the GPU is configured to not execute the particular instruction.

The glove reduces the number of the azimuth sensors arranged on the glove at positions corresponding to the phalanges of the hand, thus reducing costs while not affecting detection performance.

    Abstract: In aspects of digital image capture with a polarizer at different rotation angles, a device includes a polarizer that filters light at different polarizations and a first camera captures filtered digital images at different rotation angles of the polarizer. The device also includes a second camera to capture a full light digital image that is unfiltered. The device implements an imaging algorithm to determine a common region in each of the filtered digital images that has a variable brightness in each of the filtered digital images. The imaging algorithm can then determine pixel brightness values of the pixels in the common region of the filtered digital images, select one of the filtered digital images with a lowest pixel brightness value in the common region as an output filtered image, and combine the full light digital image with the output filtered image to generate a final image with modified image brightness.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a film forming apparatus capable of enabling source gases to isotropically flow and reducing the size of its chamber. When a susceptor with substrate holders containing substrates moves downward, the substrate holders are combined with a clutch mechanism. When a driving motor runs, a rotating shaft conformably rotates. The rotation is transmitted to a central gear through the clutch mechanism so as to rotate the central gear. Thus, the substrate holder whose peripheral surface is engaged with the center gear accordingly rotates so as to rotate the substrates. When the driving motor runs, a revolving shaft conformably rotates. The rotation is transmitted to the susceptor through a revolving clutch mechanism so as to rotate the susceptor and revolve the substrates. Process gases are fed via an inlet so that expected films are formed on the substrates when the substrates are at rotation and revolution statuses.
