  • Publication number: 20110262054
Abstract: Methods are provided for iteratively reconstructing an image signal to generate a reconstructed image signal. In one embodiment, sub-iterations of each iteration are performed on pixel or voxel subsets. The subsets may be composed of neighboring or spatially separated pixel or voxels and may extend in the z-direction. In one embodiment, an update step of the iterative reconstruction involves the direct inversion of an approximation of a Hessian matrix associated with the respective subsets. In further embodiments, non-negativity or other limitations or constraints on update values may be enforced.

  • Publication number: 20100145639
Abstract: A diagnosis method of defects in a motor and a diagnosis device thereof are described. A vibration sensing module can generate a vibration signal corresponding to a vibration of a motor during operation of the motor. Then, a data pre-processing procedure is performed to eliminate noises of the vibration signal. After the data pre-processing procedure, an analyzing procedure is performed to determine a first harmonic of spectrum features in the spectrum of the pre-processed vibration signal. And, other spectrum feature(s) is(/are) retrieved from the spectrum of the pre-processed vibration signal according to the first harmonic. Finally, a comparison procedure is performed with a defect spectrum feature database according to the retrieved spectrum features, so as to determine a defect type of the motor.

  • Patent number: 7705801
Abstract: The present invention provides a driving method suitable for a plasma display. The plasma display includes multiple scan electrodes, multiple sustain electrodes and multiple address electrodes, for example. Successive frames are adapted to be displayed in repeating reset periods, address periods and sustain periods by applying driving signals to the scan electrodes, sustain electrodes and address electrodes. The driving method is characterized in that before inputting driving signals or when interrupting driving signals, a wall-charge removing signal is applied to the scan electrodes to remove/reduce the residual wall charges around the scan electrodes and the sustain electrodes. As a result, the possibility of the plasma display generating erroneously discharging with strong light at the restarting state can be effectively reduced.
