According to the construction method, the hole reserved sleeve is obliquely arranged, the inner side of the hole reserved sleeve is sprayed with a radiation-proof coating with the functions of reducing radiation ray reflection and absorbing certain radiation rays, and in addition, after the construction of a pipeline or a line in the hole reserved sleeve is finished, the openings at both ends of the hole reserved sleeve are plugged with a radiation-proof mortar incorporated with a micro-expanding agent and a waterproof agent.

    Abstract: A flexible all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery is prepared by placing a positive electrode and a negative electrode or optionally a separator of the lithium-ion secondary battery in a gelable system in which a solid electrolyte has not yet formed by a way of infiltration or coating, so that the surfaces and the interiors of the positive and negative electrodes are infiltrated by the gelable system, which also fills the voids inside the positive and negative electrodes. When the gelable system is solidified to form the solid electrolyte, it can form the solid electrolyte in situ on the surfaces and interiors of the positive and negative electrodes. The lithium-ion secondary battery prepared by the method can form a conductive network inside the entire battery, which can not only extremely reduce the internal resistance of the lithium-ion secondary battery, thereby improving the conductivity and rate capability, but also solve the potential safety hazard problem caused by liquid electrolytes.

    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments in desalination by direct contact membrane distillation present a cylindrical cross-flow module containing high-flux composite hydrophobic hollow fiber membranes. The present embodiments are directed to a model that has been developed to describe the observed water production rates of such devices in multiple brine feed introduction configurations. The model describes the observed water vapor production rates for different feed brine temperatures at various feed brine flow rates. The model flux predictions have been explored over a range of hollow fiber lengths to compare the present results with those obtained earlier from rectangular modules which had significantly shorter hollow fibers.

A user is guided in how or where to move the ultrasound transducer based on the results of image processing of the ultrasound images. The user can thus be guided to move the transducer in a certain direction so as to achieve a complete scan of a fetus in a shortest possible time. This limits exposure of the expectant mother to the ultrasound energy. The fetal image obtained may be used to determine a fetal weight, for example using regression analysis based on some of the parameters derived from the obtained image.
