Abstract: A hybrid type permanent magnet bearing system which utilizes four permanent magnet rings to replace the mechanical bearings. These rings are divided into two separated groups along an axis, where each group has an inner ring and a separated outer ring. At least one permanent magnet ring has a surface facing the gap between the two groups but being not vertical to the axis. Hence, inside the gap, the magnetic field between these permanent magnet rings is not non-uniform over different directions, and then it may behave as the axial and radical bearing simultaneously.

Abstract: An axial passive magnet bearing system utilizes the friction-less characteristic of non-contact type permanent magnet bearing to minimize the disadvantages induced by frictions. For example, both the energy and material loses of the mechanical bearing. Two permanents magnet are made of permanent magnet materials and positioned over two opposite surfaces of two mechanical structures, where mechanical bearing(s) is located therebetween. Hence, the magnetic force between the two magnets can improve some disadvantages among the two mechanical structures and the mechanical bearings, such as friction and energy loss.

Abstract: To produce an anti-flame film, nanoscale silicate platelets (NSP) are first diluted with water or an organic solvent; the dispersion is then dried on a surface to remove the water or organic solvent and finally an almost inorganic and flexible film with a thickness of 1 to 1,000 ?m is obtained. The film has a regularly layered alignment of primary platelet (1 nm thickness) structure. The NSP film has excellent anti-flame and heat insulation properties that can effectively shield a flame of more than 800° C. without apparent deformation in shape. The NSP can be blended with polymers with a composition over 30% or preferably 70% of NSP to make composite films with significant improvement in flame and heat shielding.

Abstract: A monolithic power splitter is used to split a pair of input differential signals into two pairs of output differential signals in the present invention. The monolithic power splitter has two input terminals to receive a pair of input differential signals, and it has two one-by-two power splitters integrated in one single chip to split a pair of input differential signals into two pairs of output differential signals with equal power. And, the monolithic power splitter has four output terminals to output two pairs of output differential signals. In one embodiment, the first one-by-two power splitter and the second one-by-two power splitter are made on the same surface of the substrate. In another embodiment, the first one-by-two power splitter and the second one-by-two power splitter are made on opposite surfaces of the substrate. The monolithic power splitter can be used as a power combiner based on the reciprocal property of the power splitter circuit.

Abstract: A hybrid electric vehicle includes a wheel, a wheel driving device coupled with the wheel and including an electric motor, a battery unit including a first battery and a second battery, a generator for recharging the first battery and the second battery, a fuel engine operable to drive the generator to generate electricity, a first switch for establishing electrical connection between the generator and each of the first battery and the second battery, a second switch for establishing electrical connection between the electric motor and each of the first battery and the second battery, and a control unit operable to control the first switch and the second switch to make or break electrical connection.

Abstract: An axial hybrid magnetic bearing (HMB) is disclosed herein. The HMB has a first electric magnet, a second electric magnet, and a rotor being between the two electric magnets. The rotor has a permanent magnet (PM) structure facing the two electric magnets by its two sides. By doing so, the power consumption can be lower by a bias magnetic flux provided by the PM structure; the equilibrium point of the rotor can be adjusted by the magnetic force of the two electric magnets, which will not change the magnetic characteristic of the PM structure.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for managing multiple objects in an object zone. The system comprises multiple machine-readable object identification tags configured to be respectively attached to the multiple objects; a storage unit moving through the object zone to store the selected objects which are respectively attached with the machine-readable object identification tags; at least one machine-readable storage unit identification tag attached to the storage unit; and multiple spaced reading units capable of remotely reading the multiple machine-readable object identification tags and the at least one machine-readable storage unit identification tag, wherein the objects attached with the machine-readable object identification tags within a predefined spatial range defined based on the at least one machine-readable storage unit identification tag are associated with the storage unit. A method thereof and a storage unit are also disclosed.

Abstract: A pumping device includes a frame body, a pump body, a piston rod, a drive shaft, a main guiding member, a carrier block, a plug unit, and a rotary-to-linear motion conversion mechanism disposed between the carrier block and the drive shaft so as to convert rotation of the drive shaft to linear motion of the carrier block. A shaft axis of the drive shaft and a piston axis of the piston rod cooperatively define a vertical plane. A bottom surface of the carrier block is guided by the main guiding member and defines a bottom plane which is orthogonal to the vertical plane.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lock and a key for the same, and multiple modular lock core units are mounted in the lock. Multiple lock bead units having specific standard are mounted in each lock core unit. Each lock bead unit is detachable and is able to rearrange the permutations of the lock bead units. The key includes a handle, a core bar and multiple unlocking blocks. The core bar is connected with the handle. The unlocking blocks are detachable, are mounted around the core bar and have multiple lock teeth sequentially formed around the inner peripheries of the unlocking blocks. A user can adjust the permutations of the key teeth of the key to unlock the lock that has different permutations of the lock bead units, also can change the permutations of the lock core units to get the same effects.

The network traffic capable of being highlighted when a user selects the one or more nodes or connectors.

Abstract: A system and method for generating a flow based on multiply types of interactions are provided. Data defining one or more sequences of multiple interactive nodes are received for the multiple interactive nodes, where each of the multiple interactive nodes corresponds to a particular type of interaction. One of the interactive nodes is designated as the starting interactive node and other interactive nodes are designated as intermediary interactive nodes, where the starting interactive node and at least one of the intermediary interactive nodes correspond to different types of interactions. Intermediary interactive nodes are connected to the starting interactive node based on the one or more sequences, where the connection includes one edge corresponding to a direct connection to the starting interactive node or multiple edges corresponding to an indirect connection via at least one other intermediary interactive node. Visualization data for the interactive nodes is generated and provided for display.

Abstract: A panel cleaning roller assembly capable of comprehensively wiping a panel has an axle serving as a rotating body, and a roller serving as a wiping body. The roller is wound around and rotated synchronously with the axle. The roller has a wiping surface having longitudinally curved grooves, transversally curved grooves and wiping grains formed between the longitudinally and transversally curved grooves. The wiping grains are arranged in a curved matrix. Thus, the axle may be utilized to rotate the roller relatively to the panel to perform the rotating wiping and absorb the foreign object or debris to the longitudinally and transversally curved grooves of the roller, thereby preventing the surface of the panel from being scratched. Thus, the comprehensive wiping can be performed without forming any gap, thereby significantly enhancing the cleaning efficiency and quality and effectively enhancing the utility.

Abstract: An oil filling device includes an oil filling funnel, an extendable tube assembly, a direction adjustment assembly, and a coupling assembly. The oil filling funnel is mounted to a first end of the extendable tube assembly. The extendable tube assembly has a second end mounted to the direction adjustment assembly. The direction adjustment assembly is mounted to the coupling assembly that is attachable to an oil filling hole of an engine. The direction adjustment assembly enables adjustment of the direction of the extendable tube assembly and the oil filling funnel with respect to the engine, while the extendable tube assembly allows the oil filling funnel to be selectively moved toward or away from the oil filling hole. Thus, the oil filling device may accommodate various heights and angles of oil filling hole of engine and allows filling of oil into the engine to be conducted in a smoother manner.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for reducing metal ions (for example, silver ions) and stably dispersing metal nanoparticles by nanosilicate platelets. An organic dispersant, nanosilicate platelets and a metal ionic solution are mixed to perform a reductive reaction, wherein the organic dispersant is tri-sodium citrate dihydrate (SCD), chitosan or polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), to produce a mixture of stably dispersed metal nanoparticles.

Abstract: A pump includes a cap that is fit into an opening of a pump body. The pump body has an external thread formed on an outer circumference close to a top face thereof for engagement with and coupling to a rotatable fixing ring having an internal thread so as to retain a cap from top side thereof. The threading engagement along the circumference fixes the cap and the pump body together. The cap has an underside from which a projecting ring extends downward. The projecting ring has a thread. A piston cylinder has an end forming a thread engageable with the thread of the projecting ring to complete the assembling of the piston cylinder.

Abstract: The invention discloses a diplexer formed from the combination of a first filter and a second filter, wherein both the first filter and the second filter have at least one through-hole via inductor. The diplexer has an input terminal to receive an input signal. The first filter has a first terminal electrically connected to the input terminal and a second terminal to generate a first output signal; the second filter has a third terminal electrically connected to the input terminal and a fourth terminal to generate a second output signal. The diplexer has a first output terminal electrically connected to the second terminal of the first filter to output the first output signal and a second output terminal electrically connected to the fourth terminal of the second filter to output the second output signal.

The system comprises multiple machine-readable object identification tags configured to be respectively attached to the multiple objects; a storage unit moving through the object zone to store the selected objects which are respectively attached with the machine-readable object identification tags; at least one machine-readable storage unit identification tag attached to the storage unit; and multiple spaced reading units capable of remotely reading the multiple machine-readable object identification tags and the at least one machine-readable storage unit identification tag, wherein the objects attached with the machine-readable object identification tags within a predefined spatial range defined based on the at least one machine-readable storage unit identification tag are associated with the storage unit.
