In the present reaction process, multi-stage reaction takes place in the same reactor, including first order reaction and the second order reaction of FCC feedstock oil, cracking reaction process of light hydrocarbons and/or cycle oil. In the present process, catalyst replacement and two-stage relayed reaction takes place between the first and second order reaction of feedstock oil. Two-stage reaction of light hydrocarbons and/or cycle oil takes place too. These reactions take place in different region in the same one reactor. The first order reaction of light hydrocarbons and/or cycle oil takes place in independent region. In the present invention, catalytic cracking conversion of catalytic feedstock oil, light hydrocarbon and cycle oil takes place in respective reaction region and reaction condition.

    Abstract: Segmentation of bony regions in MRI images of joints is automated using a two-stage process. In a first stage, a machine-learning image-slice categorizer is used to categorize image slices of the MRI image data as belonging to one of a set of image-slice categories, depending on presence or absence of bone and/or tendon in the image slice. In a second stage, a first instance of a machine-learning segmentation classifier is used to segment image slices that contain both bone and tendon into bone and non-bone regions, and a second instance of a machine-learning segmentation classifier is used to segment image slices that contain bone but not tendon into bone regions and non-bone regions. Results from the two segmentation classifiers can be combined across image slices to provide a final segmentation of the bony structures, including inflammatory regions, in the image data.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a series of methods to design drilling trajectory and control drilling operations in a optimized way in carbonate formation. The trajectory design method comprises: utilizing earthquake data to obtain contours of the carbonate rock fractures; determining a safe distance from each carbonate rock fracture; determining a segmented drilling trajectory for each fracture or vuggy structures in carbonate formation; and sequentially connecting the segmented drilling trajectories of neighboring fracture and vuggy to obtain a smooth horizontal drilling trajectory. The invention optimizes the carbonate rock reservoir drilling trajectory, thus improving connection between a horizontal well and the fractures. This reduces development costs, increases exploration and development efficiency and, at the same time, eliminates leaks resulting from the drilling process, thereby allowing for smooth drilling to a target well depth.
