Abstract: An approach is provided in which a mobile device receives a first message from an electronic tag that includes a computer network address and also a unique property identifier corresponding to a physical property. The mobile device activates a camera in response to receiving the first message and, in turn, transmits a second message to the computer network address that includes the unique property identifier and an image captured by the activated camera.

Abstract: A method for indexing with redundant information. The method may identify unknown code points for a document in response to an indexing request for the document. The method may further convert the identified unknown code points into a plurality of converted code points. Each set of converted code points of the plurality uses a different codepage. The method may further identify sets of same code points and sets of redundant code points from the plurality of converted code points. The method may build an index based on the sets of same code points and the sets of redundant code points.

The reference points to a resource stored in storage of a data processing system. The one or more processors identify a set of permissions required to access the resource pointed to by the reference in the electronic communication. The one or more processors then perform a set of access-oriented actions associated with the set of permissions.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for storing streaming media content includes: receiving streaming content, at a first mobile computing device, from a content service provider over a communications network; and determining, by a secondary mobile computing device specific details of a use of the content currently being received and buffered at the first device. The second device obtains, using the determined specific details, the content expected to be consumed by the first device to a local memory storage device at the secondary device, and stores the expected content for subsequent consumption. The system and method provides for an awareness of data usage of an account instance on the secondary device; storing a set of data locally on a secondary device based on usage of a primary device; and enabling the downloading of a set of data to the secondary device via a local connection to the primary device.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for ensuring a desired distribution of images in a multimedia document (e.g., yearbook, slideshow). A desired distribution of facial signatures in a multimedia document to be created by the user is received. Upon receiving an image to be added to the multimedia document by the user, a facial signature for a face detected in the image is generated. The current number of instances of the facial signature in the multimedia document is then determined. A determination is then made as to whether the current number of instances of the facial signature meets the desired distribution. An indication is then provided to the user as to whether the current number of instances of the facial signature meets or does not meet the desired distribution. In this manner, the user can ensure a desired distribution of images in the multimedia document.

Abstract: Aspects relate to improving search results based on a search history. Searches performed by a user are monitored to collect search data. The search data is categorized according to search terms, search sites, and result satisfactions to form the search history. A search request that includes one or more search terms related to at least one of the search terms in the search history is received. The search request is modified to increase a predicted satisfaction level of the user with results of the received search request. The modifying is based on contents of the received search request and the search history. A search is performed based on the modified search request.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for managing pattern contents across multiple racks. The workload usage characteristics of the pattern contents on a primary rack in a domain of racks are collected based on monitoring the workload usage of the pattern contents in the pattern definition and in the deployed pattern. Furthermore, information regarding use of the pattern definition, the deployed pattern and the pattern contents by users (“human interaction usage patterns”) is collected based on monitoring the human interaction usage patterns. The pattern contents are then ranked based on analyzing the collected workload usage characteristics and analyzing the collected information regarding human interaction usage patterns. Once the pattern contents are ranked, those contents that are highly ranked are deemed to be more likely to be utilized in the pattern and therefore are the contents that are copied from the primary rack to the other racks of the domain.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for mitigating disorientation of a user transitioning out of a digital reality session. A user login credentials is received. A start digital reality session command is received. User behavior inputs associated with the digital reality session are monitor. In response to analyzing the user behavior inputs, a behavior risk rating associated with the user behavior inputs is generated. An ending event to the digital reality session is detected. A leakage length value based on the generated behavior risk rating is generated. An expected leakage length value based on the analyzed behavior associated with the user and a user profile associated with the user is determined. A leakage risk value based on the behavior risk rating and leakage length value is assigned. In response to the leakage risk value being above a threshold, the digital reality session is modified.

Abstract: A publication tool, and methods of use thereof, for publishing user created content as well as republishing content created by others to a social media network. The publication tool incorporates and uses analytic data from a plurality of data sources to identify and evaluate relationships between the user of the social media network and members of social media networks who subscribe to view the content published by the user on the social media network. The publication tool predicts the likelihood that a subscriber of the social media network will publish or share the same content as the user and if the publication tool predicts that the same content will be published by the user and the subscriber, the publication tool will publish the content on the social media network as a joint publication which can be viewed by all common subscribers shared between the user and the subscriber.

Abstract: A centrifugal compressor includes a housing providing in inlet, an impeller, a diffuser and a volute or collector. An electric motor is provided in the housing and is configured to drive at least one impeller via a shaft about an axis. The impeller includes an outlet end aligned with a diffuser and arranged at the throat. A variable fluid injector device is arranged downstream from the outlet end of the impeller in one example. The variable fluid injector device is configured to introduce high pressure fluid downstream from the impeller in response to a compressor regulation command. The injected fluid energizes the low momentum boundary layer, which provides compressor stability. A compressor controller is in communication with the variable fluid injection device to obtain a desired compressor operating condition.

This inventive concept reduces over-etching when forming contact components.

Thereafter, a resource utilization capability is determined for one of the components and a set of resource utilization options for an SLA for the application is filtered based upon the resource utilization capability of the component or components. One of the filtered set of options can be selected and the application is executed in the hosted computing environment. Finally, the utilization of resources accessible to the application is managed based upon the SLA during the execution of the application in the hosted computing environment.

Abstract: An approach is disclosed that provides a security and authentication daisy chain analysis and warning system to a user. The approach monitors sets of user authentication data pertaining network sites used by the user. Each of the sets of user authentication data is used by the user to access one of the sites. The approach gathers outputs displayed by many network sites, including those network sites accessed by the user. The first set of network sites is a subset of the second set of network sites. An analytical analysis is performed based on the sets of user authentication data and the gathered outputs. Based on the analytical analysis, the user can be alerted regarding security vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities can correspond to one of the gathered outputs displayed at one network site matching at least a portion of one of the sets of the user's authentication data.
