  • Patent number: 8229475
Abstract: A method for improving performance of mobile broadband wireless access system is disclosed. The method comprises the steps: first, a paging controller controls base stations to transmit paging broadcasting messages to mobile stations; the mobile stations respond to the paging controller through the base station which responds with the mobile stations; then, the paging controller transmits paging notice message to note that the base stations which do not respond with the mobile stations stop transmitting the paging broadcasting messages in the paging group; last, the base stations in the paging group immediately stop transmitting the paging broadcasting messages as to the mobile station, and delete the corresponding data, after they receive the paging notice message which the paging controller transmits.

  • Publication number: 20120034676
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel RNA picornavirus that is called Seneca Valley virus (“SVV”). The invention provides isolated SVV nucleic acids and proteins encoded by these nucleic acids. Further, the invention provides antibodies that are raised against the SVV proteins. Because SVV has the ability to selectively kill some types of tumors, the invention provides methods of using SVV and SVV polypeptides to treat cancer. Because SVV specifically targets certain tumors, the invention provides methods of using SVV nucleic acids and proteins to detect cancer. Additionally, due to the information provided by the tumor-specific mechanisms of SVV, the invention provides methods of making new oncolytic virus derivatives and of altering viruses to have tumor-specific tropisms.

  • Publication number: 20110212727
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for processing handoff confirm messages. The method includes the following steps: step S102, a serving base station receives a handoff indication message which is from a terminal, and determines the content of the field of the HO confirm type in the handoff confirm message which is to be transferred; and step S104, the serving base station determines whether the service flow information or terminal identifiers are included or not when the handoff confirm messages are transferred to multiple target base stations or target ASNs according to the field of the HO confirm type. The method for processing handoff confirm messages makes handoff among different branches according to different contents in the same controlling procedure, the redundant messages are reduced, and the transmission efficiency of link controlling information and the processing efficiency of the receiving end are improved effectively.

  • Publication number: 20110122859
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for sending a paging message applied to a Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access system, wherein an anchoring paging controller sends the paging message only to base stations meeting mobility restrictive conditions, or to base stations which belong to a paging group to which a terminal to be paged belongs and meet the mobility restrictive conditions; and the paging message is a paging starting message or a paging stopping message. Using the method in accordance with the present invention, the paging message can be prevented from sending to the base stations which do not meet the restrictive conditions of the terminal, thus reducing the consumption of the system resources.

  • Publication number: 20100202322
Abstract: A method for terminating connections to wireless relay stations (RS), applied in a system comprising a wireless communication network set, which comprises a base station (BS) and RSs subordinated to the base station. The method comprises: (a) a wireless RS, RS1, already connecting to a wireless communication network set, and the BS in the set or a wireless RS working as an agent node in a communication sub-network where RS1 attached determining that the connection of RS1 needs to be terminated; (b) the BS or the wireless RS working as the agent node sending a connection termination message to RS1 and releasing RS1's resource; (c) after receiving a connection termination instruction, RS1 releasing the resource to terminate the connection to the wireless communication network. The present invention fulfills the termination of a connection relationship to a wireless RS, and guarantees quality of service in the wireless communication network set.

  • Publication number: 20100195534
Abstract: A method for accelerating network accessing of a terminal in a wireless communication system, comprises: a wireless terminal receiving system parameter information, and after obtaining system information of a base station identifier (BS ID) and a network access provider identifier (NAP ID), immediately judging validity of the NAP ID, or validity of both the NAP ID and the BS ID; if a result of the judgment is “valid”, the terminal proceeding to a subsequent flow of the network discovery and selection according to information stored in the terminal, otherwise, carrying out a new flow of network discovery and selection. The method avoids continuing to perform processes such as message receiving and decoding in the case that a NAP ID or a BS ID is invalid according to a flow in the current protocol, thereby increasing the speed of network accessing of a terminal.
