The foldable part and at least part of the support part are sequentially stacked on one side of the two opposite sides of the mask strip, and the foldable part covers at least part of the transition area close to the folding structure of the mask strip.

Frames are configured to carry band information and are selected to be transmitted simultaneously in multiple bands based on various constraints to avoid out-of-order delivery. For frames under a block ACK agreement, a transmit STA can specify the transmission bands for the frames in an ADDBA request frame. While a first band is transmitting a first frame under a block ACK agreement, the second band can be used to transmit a frame under the same block ACK agreement as, and from the same traffic flow with, the first frame. Otherwise, the second band can be used to transmit a frame with a different TID than the first frame.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a novel method to fabricate magnetic silica nanomembranes using thin polymer cores based on silica deposition and self-wrinkling induced by thermal shrinkage. These micro- and nano-scale structures have vastly enlarged the specific area of silica, thus the magnetic silica nanomembranes can be used for solid phase extraction of nucleic acids. The magnetic silica nanomembranes are suitable for nucleic acid purification and isolation and demonstrated better performance than commercial particles in terms of nucleic acid recovery yield and integrity. In addition, the magnetic silica nanomembranes may have high nucleic acid capacity due to significantly enlarged specific surface area of silica. Methods of use and devices comprising the magnetic silica nanomembranes are also provided herein.

The mobile cytometer may be controlled by a computer (e.g., smartphone) application. Calibration of the portable device may be performed using a component of known impedance value. With the developed portable flow cytometer, analysis may be performed on two sickle cell samples and a healthy cell sample. The acquired results may subsequently be analyzed to extract single-cell level impedance information as well as statistics of different cell conditions. Significant differences in cell impedance signals may be observed between sickle cells and normal cells, as well as between sickle cells under hypoxia and normoxia conditions.
