    Abstract: A method for vehicle place recognition, in which LiDAR data of a vehicle is processed to obtain a point cloud result of a vehicle LiDAR. An environmental descriptor is constructed based on the point cloud result. Based on a type of a LiDAR sensor of the LiDAR data and a measurement environment, a dynamic filtering strategy threshold is calculated. Compared the environmental descriptor and the dynamic filtering strategy threshold with point cloud data in a historical database, a vehicle position information is obtained.

    Abstract: A plastic reflective waveguide is manufactured using a soft transfer stamp formed in a first mold using a liquid injection molding process to provide the stamp with parallel wall surfaces having a zero degree draft angle. The soft transfer stamp is placed as an insert in a second mold utilized in a multi-stage thermoplastic injection molding process. A first thermoplastic injection molding stage molds a base part of the plastic reflective waveguide having parallel wall surfaces with a zero degree draft angle. The soft transfer stamp is removed from the second mold and a partially-reflective coating is applied to the base part. A second thermoplastic injection molding stage is utilized to create a secondary part of the plastic reflective waveguide. The raw plastic reflective waveguide is ejected from the second mold and subjected to additional manufacturing processes to realize a finished part meeting design requirements for size and form factor.

The utilization of separate plates enables optimization for placement and sizing of the out-coupling HOE in front of the user's eye to thereby increase eyebox size for the virtual images and improves quality of the see-through experience.

A data encryption key is generated using the primary encryption key, the data salt, and a one-way function. A metadata encryption key is generated using the primary encryption key, the metadata salt, and the one-way function. Because the data salt string and metadata salt string differ, the data encryption and metadata encryption keys differ. Object IDs for different objects differ, so each object and its metadata have globally unique keys. Key generation (other than the primary key) is deterministic, simplifying key management.

If a difference between TOF for which the first ultrasonic dual-wave transducer receives the echo signal and double of TOF for which the second ultrasonic dual-wave transducer receives the echo signal in a same mode is not greater than a quarter of one transmission period T, the measured TOF satisfies verification requirements. Reliability of time-of-flight data of the ultrasonic wave can be verified, and various measurement errors can be prevented.
