Abstract: A protective finger device for use with electronic devices comprising a sleeve to cover a distal portion of a wearer's finger; an opening at an end of the sleeve, where the opening receives the wearer's finger; a tip at an opposing end of the sleeve from the opening, where the tip envelops the wearer's fingertip; and a plurality of holes along the sleeve, where the plurality of holes allow air to pass through the sleeve. The protective finger device is made from a breathable, antimicrobial material to provide a barrier between the wearer's finger and the electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions and methods for treating Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) infections. In particular, the present invention provides vaccines comprising a Panton-Valentine Leukocidin (u) antigen, antibodies which bind a PVL antigen and compositions containing the same, methods of making such compositions and methods for treating S. aureus infections, including those that are community acquired methicillin-resistant infections. The present invention also provides PVL antibodies, including PVL antibodies specific for a single PVL subunit, and PVL antigens, including conjugated and mutated PVL antigens.

Abstract: A body support pillow having a semi-toroidal head support section (12), a substantially straight tubular back support section (14), and a semi-toroidal leg support section (16). To enhance range of motion, the head support section (12) terminates distally in a flared end (18), while the leg support section terminates distally in a tapered end (20). The proximate ends of the head support section (12) and the leg support section (16) are joined to the back support section (14) in an opposing manner to form an S-shaped pillow overall. Made of resilient and pliable material, the invention provides for direct, simultaneous, integrated, and flexible support of the head, back, legs, and feet of a side-lying individual, while allowing the ventral portion of the body to remain unobstructed. Submitted data is automatically compiled and stored in database using a data extraction tool integrated into the electronic form. The present invention advantageously allows evaluation of managed care providers for price and quality in a portfolio manner. In addition, the use of a common base electronic request form facilitates easy integration of data updates and modifications for all potential providers.

Abstract: A sunfish boat boom is slidably secured to a pipe tee for aft and bow relative motion to the tee which is secured to the mast by a conventional gooseneck device. A bungee cord secured to the boom at a pulley medial the boom between the mast and the aft end of the boom and to an eyelet at the pipe tee resiliently biases the boom in the bow direction. A rope is secured at its opposite ends to the bow end of the boom passing through an eyelet at the tee and to a cleat at the pilot compartment. Rings on the boom establish maximum aft and bow displacement of the boom via abutment with the tee. The rope holds the boom at an extreme forward position with the tee abutting one of the rings. The rope is released to permit the bungee cord bias to pull the boom to the other extreme aft position established by the other ring abutting the tee. Pulling or releasing the rope moves the boom to any desired position between the extreme positions.
