Abstract: A method and a measuring apparatus for measuring noise of a device under test (DUT) is provided, wherein the DUT is connected to a link partner (LP) device via a cable, and the measuring apparatus is coupled to the DUT and LP device. The method includes: controlling the LP device to transmit a far-end data sequence to the DUT according to transmission data; controlling the DUT to recover the transmission data for generating aided-data sequence according to the transmission data, wherein the aided-data sequence is configured to perform cancellation with a received far-end data sequence to generate a cancellation result; generating a first noise value and a second noise value in a first training phase and a second training phase, respectively; and estimating noise from at least one circuit according to the first noise value and the second noise value.

Third-party programming code that implements different third-party logic may be obtained and stored in a repository. A transaction processing request is received from a third-party server, and an instance of a transaction processing module is instantiated within an operating runtime environment to process a transaction according to a workflow. When the instance of the transaction processing module has reached an interruption point, the instance of the transaction processing module is suspended, and a third-party programming code is executed within an isolated runtime environment. The third-party programming code is configured to provide an output value based on attributes of the transaction. The instance of the transaction processing module then determines whether to authorize or deny the transaction based in part on the output value.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems and techniques for synchronizing cameras and tagging images for face authentication. For face authentication by a facial recognition model, a dual infrared camera may generate an image stream by alternating between capturing a “flood image” and a “dot image” and tagging each image with metadata that indicates whether the image is a flood or a dot image. Accurately tagging images can be difficult due to dropped frames and errors in metadata tags. The disclosed systems and techniques provide for the improved synchronization of cameras and tagging of images to promote accurate facial recognition.

Abstract: The precision of up-sampling operations in a layered coding system is preserved when operating on video data with high bit-depth. In response to bit-depth requirements of the video coding or decoding system, scaling and rounding parameters are determined for a separable up-scaling filter. Input data are first filtered across a first spatial direction using a first rounding parameter to generate first up-sampled data. First intermediate data are generated by scaling the first up-sampled data using a first shift parameter. The intermediate data are then filtered across a second spatial direction using a second rounding parameter to generate second up-sampled data. Second intermediate data are generated by scaling the second up-sampled data using a second shift parameter. Final up-sampled data may be generated by clipping the second intermediate data.

Abstract: A method for standardizing image annotation includes receiving a defect pattern; marking an image according to the defect pattern to generate a first judgement result; marking the image according to the defect pattern to generate a second judgement result; comparing the first judgement result and the second judgement result to obtain a comparison result; and updating the defect pattern according to the comparison result to standardize the defect pattern. The method for standardizing image annotation of the present specification can improve the marking stability of the training data of a trained image recognition algorithm, thereby improving the accuracy of image recognition of the trained image recognition algorithm.

Abstract: A field condition-based experimental apparatus for an ecological indicator of vegetation includes a plurality of isolation units arranged at intervals and an auxiliary mechanism detachably connected to the isolation unit. The isolation units include a plurality of isolation boxes arranged at intervals and respectively having a hollow structure, and a support frame respectively disposed at four corners of the isolation box. The auxiliary mechanism is detachably connected to the support frame. A soil layer is disposed in the isolation box. The experimental apparatus has a reliable structure and is easy to use. An appropriate number of isolation units are buried under field conditions based on experimental needs. Auxiliary mechanisms of different structures are mounted based on experimental conditions. This implements reliable detection of an ecological indicator of vegetation under the field conditions and effectively improves authenticity and reliability of detection results.
