The method includes: controlling the LP device to transmit a far-end data sequence to the DUT according to transmission data; controlling the DUT to recover the transmission data for generating aided-data sequence according to the transmission data, wherein the aided-data sequence is configured to perform cancellation with a received far-end data sequence to generate a cancellation result; generating a first noise value and a second noise value in a first training phase and a second training phase, respectively; and estimating noise from at least one circuit according to the first noise value and the second noise value.

The instance of the transaction processing module then determines whether to authorize or deny the transaction based in part on the output value.

For face authentication by a facial recognition model, a dual infrared camera may generate an image stream by alternating between capturing a “flood image” and a “dot image” and tagging each image with metadata that indicates whether the image is a flood or a dot image. Accurately tagging images can be difficult due to dropped frames and errors in metadata tags. The disclosed systems and techniques provide for the improved synchronization of cameras and tagging of images to promote accurate facial recognition.

In response to bit-depth requirements of the video coding or decoding system, scaling and rounding parameters are determined for a separable up-scaling filter. Input data are first filtered across a first spatial direction using a first rounding parameter to generate first up-sampled data. First intermediate data are generated by scaling the first up-sampled data using a first shift parameter. The intermediate data are then filtered across a second spatial direction using a second rounding parameter to generate second up-sampled data. Second intermediate data are generated by scaling the second up-sampled data using a second shift parameter. Final up-sampled data may be generated by clipping the second intermediate data.
