  • Publication number: 20080101247
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes, at an endpoint, receiving signaling packets from a network coupled to the network. The method also includes, at the endpoint, detecting faults in the signaling packets received at the interface. The method also includes, from the endpoint, reporting the faults to a call agent residing at a server coupled to the network.

  • Patent number: 6929200
Abstract: The method for preventing asbestos from freeing airborne particles comprises sequentially heating and the asbestos in the following surrounding temperatures values and maintaining the asbestos in these surrounding temperature values until the asbestos changes to the following corresponding colors: a) between 125° F. (52° C.) and 175° F. (79° C.) until the asbestos changes to a uniform pale russet-red color; b) between 225° F. (107° C.) and 275° F. (135° C.) until the asbestos changes to a uniform dark russet-red color; c) between 325° F. (163° C.) and 375° F. (191° C.) until the asbestos changes to a uniform dark orange color; d) between 425° F. (218° C.) and 475° F. (246° C.) until the asbestos changes to a uniform red color; e) between 525° F. (274° C.) and 575° F. (302° C.) until the asbestos changes to a uniform grey color; and f) between 625° F. (329° C.) and 675° F. (357° C.) until the asbestos changes to a uniform opaque white color.

  • Patent number: 6564663
Abstract: A transmission system for a straddle vehicle offers an automatic mode based on preprogrammed values for consistent shifting each time certain engine conditions are encountered. A variety of preset shifting parameters may be provided to allow different shifting modes. By this, an operator can select the degree of aggressiveness of the transmission. The automatic transmission may be modulated so that a preset shifting delay is provided to allow the operator to experience the sensation of shifting.

  • Patent number: 5993270
Abstract: Such a clamp has a clamping spring (5) and a busbar (4) on which the pretensioned clamping spring (5) can be placed. One end leg (8) of the clamping spring (5) has a window (9) penetrated by the tongue of the busbar (4), and a spring-tensioned electrical conductor can be fixed between a front edge (12) and the busbar (4). The other end section (14) of the clamping spring (5) abuts a brace of the busbar (4), and the spring forms a flexible joint (6) between its end leg (8) and the end section (14). To make the design and installation simpler, the clamping spring (5) is bent essentially in the form of a circular arc section at its flexible joint (6). Its end leg (8) and end section (14) are bent away from the open side (7) of the arc-shaped flexible joint (6), and the tongue (10) and brace (15) are in a respectively adapted position on the busbar (4).

  • Patent number: 5810618
Abstract: Fastening device for an electrical apparatus (10) whose base (20) has a central clearance (60) shaped to fit a support rail (50) and delimited on one side by an open slide rail (61) into which one of the edges (54) of the support rail can be fitted while the other edge of the support rail (55) can be held by retaining hooks (24c), characterized in that:the base (20) is formed out of an extruded part, the device comprises at least one deflection spring (70) that inserts smoothly into the slide rail (61) so that the length of the spring runs more or less along the length of the slide rail, the deflection spring (70) being a leaf spring with one contact surface (73) capable of pressing against the cant (56) of one edge (54) of the rail.
