  • Publication number: 20160107084
Abstract: Snapwin is a mobile app game. The game is related to a method for managing a contest with a processing or mobile device. Players may be searched in the mobile device's address book, through Facebook's API, Random selection from the user's Data Base or searching by username. The game creator may erase a player to substitute him in case he invited him by mistake or the player does not answer the request. Once all the players accept the invitation to the game the server creates a new game and selects a plurality of words from the data base to form a new game. These words may refer to a noun, action, verb, emotion, advertised words or whatever that can be captured and will appear in the home screen as a new game in which all the involved players must then take a photo related to that word and submit it. The player that is first to take all the photos without getting any revoked wins the game.

  • Patent number: 9246026
Abstract: Disclosed is a solar cell having a collecting electrode on one main surface of a photoelectric conversion section. The collecting electrode includes a first electroconductive layer and a second electroconductive layer in this order from the photoelectric conversion section side, and further includes an insulating layer between the first electroconductive layer and the second electroconductive layer. The first electroconductive layer includes a low-melting-point material, and a part of the second electroconductive layer is conductively connected with the first electroconductive layer through, for example, an opening in the insulating layer. The second electrode layer is preferably formed by a plating method. In addition, it is preferable that before forming the second electroconductive layer, annealing by heating is carried out to generate the opening section in the insulating layer.

  • Publication number: 20150297101
Abstract: Example apparatus and methods perform magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) for arterial spin labeling (ASL) based parameter quantification. ASL with MRF produces a nuclear magnetic resonance signal time course from which simultaneous quantification of ASL perfusion-related parameters can be achieved. The parameters may include cerebral blood flow, transit time, T1, or other parameters. The quantification uses values from a dictionary of signal time courses that were generated or augmented using Bloch simulation, knowledge of the sequence, or previous observations. The dictionary may account for inflow or outflow of labeled spins and may model arterial input. An ASL-MRF pulse sequence may differ from conventional pulse sequences. For example, an ASL-MRF pulse sequence may include non-uniform control pulses, non-uniform label pulses, non-uniform post labeling delay time, non-uniform background suppression pulses, non-uniform acquisition repetition time, or non-uniform acquisition flip angle.

  • Patent number: 9147780
Abstract: In a solar cell, a collecting electrode is provided on a transparent electrode of a photoelectric conversion section having the transparent electrode on the outermost surface on one main surface side. The collecting electrode includes a first electroconductive layer and a second electroconductive layer in this order from the photoelectric conversion section side. Preferably, a self-assembled monolayer is formed on a region on the transparent electrode layer, which is not provided with the first electroconductive layer. A method for manufacturing the solar cell includes: forming a first electroconductive layer on a transparent electrode layer; forming a self-assembled monolayer on a region on the transparent electrode layer, which is not provided with the first electroconductive layer; and bringing the first electroconductive layer and a plating solution into contact with each other to form the second electroconductive layer by a plating method, in this order.

  • Publication number: 20150217059
Abstract: Although injection molding includes extreme conditions, an RFID device may be over-molded by injection molding. A syringe includes a barrel having a first and second axial ends, the barrel defining a cavity therein; a plunger configured to be received in the cavity and define with the barrel a chamber for holding a fluid, the plunger being axially moveable within the barrel for increasing and decreasing the volume of the chamber thereby respectively forcing fluid into or out of the chamber; and a plunger seal, also known as a “syringe stopper” for sealing between the plunger and the barrel, the plunger seal including an RFID device for identifying the syringe. The plunger seal may be made by injection molding.

  • Publication number: 20140364679
Abstract: An improved apparatus is provided for transcranial magnetic stimulation in a brain of a subject. The apparatus is comprised of: a plurality of coils electrically connected in series to each other; and a single source of current electrically coupled to one of the plurality of coils. Each coil may include one or more windings of similar dimensions although the size of the windings varies between coils. Each of the coils is further dimensioned to stimulate brain tissue at a given distance while minimizing volume of the brain tissue excited by the magnetic field. During operation, the current source injects time varying current into the coils to create a magnetic field which in turn induces electric fields and eddy-currents inside the brain tissue of the subject.
