  • Patent number: 5814015
Abstract: A processor driven syringe pump for one or more, typically two syringes, which are held vertically in corresponding pumping stations of a housing unit which itself is typically suspended from an IV pole. The pump features a central display having portions corresponding to each of the syringes operated by the pump. A data entry knob cooperative with a display processor, causes a cursor issue on the display to step through and choose the menu selections. A function knob is operative to select five operating states including: Purge, Setup, Stop, Run and Bolus in a virtual or software driven manner. The syringe holding station includes a pusher assembly having plunger clamp assembly and a load cell to measure force exerted on the plunger flange. An actuation pad and associated linkage provides for easy syringe flange capturing, while a syringe barrel clamp provides for easy syringe loading and secure syringe barrel positioning for many sizes of syringe.

  • Patent number: 5712453
Abstract: An apparatus for stabilizing a concha style headset comprises a receiver attachment that couples to the body of the receiver of the headset, a flexible and resilient support member extending from the receiver attachment, and a concha stabilizer pad coupled to the end of the support member, such that the concha stabilizer pad contacts the upper concha under the antihelix of the ear with the receiver placed in the lower concha in front of the ear canal. The receiver attachment can include a foam ear cushion that covers the portion of the receiver that is placed in the lower concha, with the concha stabilizer pad and the flexible support member formed of a compressed cellular foam. Support ribs extend from the upper surface of the ear cushion along the surface of the support member and join the concha stabilizer pad.

  • Patent number: 5237640
Abstract: A cable guide assembly for use with a panel which has a plurality of adjacent mounted circuit members, such as panel mounted telephone switching circuits, with a plurality of fiber optic or other cable whose performance would be impaired if bent beyond a minimum bend radius extending therefrom. The guide assembly manages the running of the cable toward either end of the panel from each circuit member in a manner such that the cable cannot be bent beyond its minimum bend radius. In particular, an effective curve surface is provided at each point where the cable changes direction, with the cable passing over such surface and such surface having a radius which is not less than the minimum bend radius of the cable.
