  • Publication number: 20150186718
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide methods and systems for identifying a candidate character cut for an overwritten character. A method may include providing a handwriting input area. The handwriting input area may be divided into multiple sections and a first portion of the multiple sections may be located in an end point region. A first handwritten input comprising a first stroke that ends in a section located in the end point region may be received. A second handwritten input comprising a second stroke that begins in a section that is not located in the end point region may be received. As a result, a first candidate character cut may be identified between the first stroke and the second stroke.

  • Patent number: 8974734
Abstract: An electronic nose device is disclosed in an embodiment of the invention. The electronic nose device includes a fan module, a gas molecule sensor module, a control unit and an output unit. The fan module is used to pump air actively to the gas molecule sensor module. The gas molecule sensor module detects the air pumped into by the fan module. The gas molecule sensor module at least includes a gas molecule sensor which is covered with a compound. The compound is used to combine preset gas molecules. The control unit controls the fan module to suck air into the electronic nose device. Then the fan module transmits an air current to the gas molecule sensor module to generate a detected data. The output unit calculates the detected data to generate a calculation result and outputs an indicating signal to an operator or compatible host computer according to the calculation result.

  • Patent number: 8839077
Abstract: The present invention provides a low-complexity and multi-mode Low-density Parity-check (LDPC) codec, in which the decoding operations are divided into small tasks and a unified hardware is implemented so that the hardware resources can be reused in different modes. In addition, memory access is achieved via routing networks with fixed interconnections and memory address generators, the complexity of the hardware implementation is reduced accordingly. Further, the present invention provides an early termination function with which the iterative operations can be terminated early when a threshold is reached so that the power consumption can be thus reduced. The hardware resources for early termination shares a part of hardware resources with an encoder according to the present invention so that the complexity of the hardware implementation can also be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20140197692
Abstract: A non-contact power supply device of an electronic lock includes a power supply unit and an electronic lock, and the power supply unit is oppositely provided with a power supply member and a power-receiving member. The power supply member is connected with a power source, able to produce a radio-frequency signal, while the power-receiving member can induce and receive the radio-frequency signal to form electronic energy to be supplied to the electronic lock for operation. Thus, the power supply member and the power-receiving member can carry out wireless signal transmission to have electronic energy supplied to the electronic lock for locking and unlocking a door, able to avoid the trouble that the battery unit of a conventional electronic lock must periodically replaced with a new one.
