    Abstract: A method for allocating sidelink resource is provided. The method includes the steps of maintaining, a counter to record how many remaining periodic reservations of sidelink resource to be used for sidelink signal transmission, wherein the periodic reservations are associated with a reservation period; receiving, in the sidelink communication, assistance information from the second UE or from a third UE which is not the peer-Rx UE of the first UE; and determining, whether to reselect a new sidelink resource different from the sidelink resource comprising the remaining periodic reservations according to the receiving assistance information even if the counter is greater than 0, to transmit signal to the second UE.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) in wireless communication receives a configuration of search space (SS) sets that include a first SS set in a first control resource set (CORESET) and a second SS set in a second CORESET. The first CORESET and the second CORESET have different transmission configuration indication (TCI) states. The UE repeatedly receives downlink control information (DCI) via a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and a second PDCCH. The first PDCCH is allocated with a first set of time-and-frequency resources configured for first SS set and the second PDCCH is allocated with a second set of time-and-frequency resources configured for the second SS set. The UE then parses the DCI to obtain control information for the wireless communication. Alternatively, the configuration of SS sets received by the UE is in one CORESET that has at least a TCI state and a second TCI state activated.

Each wireless device generates a second time domain signal occupying a second interval and corresponding to the first time domain signal. A jth second OFDM symbol of K second OFDM symbols represents a set of N2 modulation symbols on N2 subcarriers using the second subcarrier spacing, derived from the set of N1 modulation symbols represented by a jth first OFDM symbol of the K first OFDM symbols. Each wireless device transmits each second time domain signal on the second frequency band through a transmitting antenna of the each wireless device.

    Abstract: A UE receives second time domain signals, each carrying L layers of data, in S second intervals corresponding to a second subcarrier spacing. Each of the second intervals contains one or more OFDM symbols. The L layers of data are transmitted by a base station through sets of N1 modulation symbols carried on N1 subcarriers of a first subcarrier spacing. The UE obtains sets of N2 modulation symbols carried on N2 reception subcarriers of the second subcarrier spacing from each second time domain signal received through each receiving antenna in each second interval. Each set of the sets of N2 modulation symbols corresponds to one of the OFDM symbols in the S second intervals. The UE obtains a mapping rule that maps the sets of N2 modulation symbols received in two or more of the S second intervals to a resource set for decoding together.

    Abstract: A method for performing sidelink transmission over an unlicensed band is provided. The method includes performing a first-type listen-before-talk (LBT) process on the unlicensed band to obtain a channel occupancy time (COT) for the sidelink transmission. The first-type LBT process includes a random backoff process. Duration of the random backoff process is determined by a randomly generated LBT counter. The method further includes determining, based on a result from a sensing operation performed on the unlicensed band within a sensing window, a plurality of candidate sidelink resources on the unlicensed band within a sidelink resource selection window. The method also includes selecting, based on a completion time point of the first-type LBT process, a sidelink resource from the plurality of candidate sidelink resources. The method also includes performing the sidelink transmission within the obtained COT on the selected sidelink resource.

The UE determines a total Q blind detections of PDCCH that the UE is capable of performing. The UE determines a first predetermined scaling factor X. The UE allocates M1 blind detections of the Q blind detections to be available on each of the N1 component carriers and M2 blind detections of the Q blind detections to be available on each of the N2 component carriers such that (N1*M1+N2*M2) is a largest integer no greater than Q. M2 equals to X*M1. The UE performs blind detections in accordance with the allocations.
