  • Publication number: 20240333682
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for prevent network outages and improve communication effectiveness by implementing an automatic discovery method that enables the AP to act dynamically to determine its persona as a WAN AP or LAN AP. Based on the determination, the AP can receive the appropriate configuration settings in a configuration file from the central controller (e.g., Aruba central config service) for its dynamic persona. In some examples, the administrator user may define an AP identifier (e.g., MAC addresses) of the network devices in the corresponding microbranch for authentication and authorization.

  • Publication number: 20240330329
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, in accordance with one embodiment, includes collecting data from a plurality of predefined functional areas in a particular geographical area in which a plurality of physical objects are located, at least some of the data relating to vandalism. Wrangling is performed on the data to correlate the data from the functional areas with respective ones of the physical objects. The wrangled data corresponding to each of the physical objects is transformed into features corresponding to a the functional areas. For each of the physical objects, the features are processed according to predefined rules for generating a rank for each of the functional areas. Dynamic weights are computed for at least some of the features to account for data drift by comparing historical data with latest data. The ranks and dynamic weights are transformed into a vandalism score for each of the physical objects, which is output.

  • Publication number: 20240334322
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first processor; and a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the first processor, cause the apparatus to monitor a flow of data packets on a network plane. The apparatus is also caused to calculate a packet rate of the flow of the data packets. The apparatus is further caused to compare the packet rate with a first threshold value. The apparatus is additionally caused to, in response to determining the packet rate is less than the first threshold value, cause an operating state of a second processor communicatively coupled with the apparatus to change from an active state to a sleep state.

  • Publication number: 20240333684
Abstract: A cloud-based application assurance service system and method using Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) enables Network Elements (NE) to access the cloud-based application assurance service to search a rules/signature database, without impacting latency on network-firewall decisions. Additionally, the application assurance service system distributes the associated mapping of the NE cache's latest contents to neighboring NEs, where a given user might next access the network. The system can recognize applications associated with network traffic and apply firewall rules. Further, the system tracks applications and uses this data to update NE caches periodically, such that NE caches are more likely to store the relevant application signatures in advance. Moreover, a historical user usage matrix is generated to track application use per user, which is used to detect a highly probable user path and transfer mapping to an associated NE.

  • Publication number: 20240331611
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide various apparatuses and techniques to efficiently mitigate front-of-screen (FoS) artifacts that may occur due to voltage fluctuations due to alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) mechanisms that may occur in a variety of pixel types. In one embodiment, emission profile awareness circuitry may be implemented to mitigate for FoS artifacts due to DC mechanisms. Two-dimensional (2D) digital compensation circuitry may address the DC portion of the voltage fluctuations by accounting for an emission profile applied to content displayed on an electronic display. In some embodiments, the 2D digital compensation circuitry may compensate for the AC portion of the voltage fluctuations by duplicating the AC voltage fluctuations via voltage error subtraction circuitry and voltage error accumulation circuitry.

  • Patent number: 12104980
Abstract: A vehicle is received in a stationary controlled area of a controlled testing environment. Simulation inputs corresponding to a simulated scene are generated and transmitted to the vehicle. The vehicle applies torque in response. A vehicle control mechanism of the controlled testing environment, such as a chassis dynamometer, a motorized treadmill, or a lift, keeps the vehicle within the stationary controlled area during the test despite the torque applied by the vehicle. A path of the vehicle within the simulated scene is determined based on the applied torque, based upon which the vehicle's navigation system is calibrated.

  • Patent number: 12105582
Abstract: A system is provided for code base sharing during computing application failure using a distributed register network. In particular, the system may comprise a plurality of computing application systems that are associated with one another and stored on a distributed register. In this regard, the distributed register may share a code base as well as processing logs for each application. The system may use a deep learning based machine learning process for identifying the dependencies, input data sources for each application, and expected data outputs. Accordingly, if an application experiences a failure, the payload of the failed application may be read and/or processed by another application to maintain the workflow. Furthermore, the system may use AI/ML processes to analyze the code base and/or system logs associated with application failures and generate recommendations for remediating failures.
