    Abstract: Systems and methods of managing virtual application performance in a virtual computing environment are provided. A system determines an application interaction score based on corresponding application interaction factors associated with sessions. The system determines the application interaction score for each virtual application accessed during each of the sessions. The system generates an aggregated application interaction score for each of the sessions based at least on combining the application interaction score for each of the virtual applications accessed during a corresponding session. The system performs an action based at least in part on the aggregated application interaction score to improve performance of a virtual application accessed via the virtual computing environment.

The system initiates update sessions which install update in instances of application agent corresponding to selected application hosts. If update sessions did not fail to install update in any of instances of application agent in cluster of application hosts, then the system stores the updated instances of the application agents in a non-volatile storage.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an image segmentation device that inputs an image to be segmented as reference frame, with values corresponding to those of pixels in the image. The device initializes a filter with similar properties to the reference frame and a starting value. A processed image, similar to the reference image, is also initialized. The device then updates each pixel in the processed image with the corresponding value from the filter, until the values of pixels in the processed image match those of the reference image. During iterations, the device identifies pixels in the processed image with a pre-defined value as “root nodes” and assigns them an index based on the iteration count when their values reached that value. Finally, the device segments the root nodes into multiple clusters, grouping together nodes within a pre-defined distance and with indices within a specified range.
