  • Patent number: 4745295
Abstract: An attitude detecting arrangement for detecting the attitude of objects such as electronic chip parts and the like, which includes a sensor section having sensors capable of detecting lengths in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction so as to detect the thickness and the length of the object when a portion of light is intercepted by the object held by a suction nozzle, a comparing value memory section in which preliminarily obtained data corresponding to the thickness and length of the object to be detected are stored, and an operation processing section for detecting the attitude of the object to be detected by comparing the data obtained by the sensors with the preliminarily obtained data corresponding the thickness and length of the object.

  • Patent number: 4728135
Abstract: The component sucking and holding machine concentrically comprises a first sucking pipe having a wider-area-sucking-opening at its end tip and a second sucking pipe inserted in the first sucking pipe, having a narrower-area-sucking opening at its end tip; the machine can easily suck and hold a component having various sizes by changing the relative position between the first and second sucking pipes.

  • Patent number: 4706379
Abstract: A parts mounting apparatus has a plurality of suction nozzles for picking up and holding the parts, the nozzles intermittently moving along a closed path to stop positions arranged at predetermined set intervals along the path, including a parts pickup position at which parts are picked up by the suction nozzles and a parts mounting position at which parts are mounted on an article on which parts are to be mounted. A position adjusting device is provided between the parts pickup positions and the parts mounting position for adjusting the position of a part held on a suction nozzle to orient the part relative to the longitudinal axis of the suction nozzle in two directions at right angles to each other and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 4524860
Abstract: An automatic board transfer apparatus transfers, positions and delivers boards and comprises an arm which is reciprocable along guides for horizontally guiding the boards and which is vertically movable perpendicularly to the plane of the boards. A pusher and a pin are installed on the arm. The board is transferred in advance along the guides by the pusher and on the way a pin is inserted into the reference hole of the board to thereby transfer the board. Thus, variations in the position of the reference hole of the board caused by reversing the board and variations in board length are accommodated without adjustment, thus making continuous production possible.
