  • Publication number: 20090069687
Abstract: A medical apparatus comprises a sound-wave radiating member and a light radiating member. The sound-wave radiating member radiates ultrasound wave into an object, the ultrasound wave having a plurality of frequency components different from each other. The light radiating member radiates light into a region within the object, the ultrasound wave being already radiated into the region. Thus, the light reflects and scatters at depth-directional higher-density local portions of the object, which are caused by the ultrasound wave inside the object. Further, the apparatus comprises a light receiving member receiving light reflected in the region in response to the radiated light. In this apparatus, information indicative of a reflected (and scattered) state of the radiated light in the region is calculated based on the received light and the radiated ultrasound wave. For example, the ultrasound wave being radiated increases its frequency over time.

  • Publication number: 20090048489
Abstract: In a medical apparatus, an ultrasound generator generates ultrasound waves to be radiated into the region, and an ultrasound radiating-direction changing member changes in the region a radiating direction of the ultrasound waves to be generated by the ultrasound generator. An ultrasound converging member converges in the region the ultrasound waves subjected to the change of the radiating direction. Light which is reachable to the region is emitted from a light source unit. A light transmitting/receiving member radiates light emitted from the light source unit and receives light reflected in a converged region of the ultrasound waves in the region. Based on the reflected light, information showing the internal state in a desired deeper region in the membrana mucosa of the body tissue of the object.

  • Publication number: 20090043156
Abstract: A biological observation system is provided, which is mounted in en endoscope so as to acquire information indicating the internal state of a body tissue of an object using the interaction between ultrasound waves and light. The endoscope is equipped with an ultrasound generating member, a light transmitting/receiving member, and a moving member. The ultrasound generating member generates ultrasound waves toward a region to be examined of an object. The light transmitting/receiving member radiates light from a light source toward the region to be examined and receives light reflected by a region of the ultrasound waves within the region to be examined. The moving member spatially moves both the ultrasound generating member and the light transmitting/receiving member together as a unitary member.

  • Publication number: 20080221447
Abstract: A medical apparatus acquires information indicating an internal state of a region being examined of an object based on a modulated component of light caused by interaction with ultrasound waves in the region. In the apparatus, light radiating component have a light radiating member radiating the light toward the region of the object, and light detecting components have a light detecting member detecting light that has been transmitted through the region of the object. The light radiating and detecting components are supported by support components to be opposed to each other with the region located between the light radiating and detecting members. An ultrasound emitting component emits the ultrasound waves toward the region from a direction different from a radiating direction of the light radiated from the light radiating member. The emitted ultrasound waves modulates the radiated light.

  • Publication number: 20080188316
Abstract: To realize the reduction of weight of a power transmission device by overcoming a drawback that an excessively large rotational torque is transmitted to a power transmission path and to sufficiently suppress the generation of a change of a rotational speed by overcoming a drawback that phases between one universal joint and another universal joint are displaced from each other. A damper mechanism is provide in the course of a power transmission path from an engine to a final reduction gear. The damper mechanism transmits a torque from the engine until the torque arrives at a predetermined value and prevents the transmission of a torque that exceeds the predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20070187632
Abstract: An apparatus analyzes information indicative of a characteristic of a region to be examined an object. The apparatus comprises an ultrasound generator generating an ultrasound wave toward the region within the object and a light generator generating light toward the region. The ultrasound sound generated is transmitted toward the region. The apparatus further comprises a light receiver, information acquiring unit, and information producer. • Patent number: 7057293
Abstract: A structure of the present invention has a printed circuit board having a land portion provided on a surface thereof on which a solder paste is printed in such a condition that, with respect to a lengthwise direction of a connecting terminal of an electronic component to be connected to the land portion, the solder paste projects outward from an edge of the land portion on the side of a front end of the connecting terminal and/or the solder paste is withdrawn toward inside the edge of the land portion on the side of a rear end of the connecting terminal. Solder projecting from the edge of the land portion on the side of the front end of the connecting terminal is used for forming a fillet by which the front end of the connecting terminal is surely covered. Also, as the solder paste is withdrawn from the edge of the land portion on the side of the rear end of the connecting terminal, any extra solder except for the solder indispensable for forming a soldered joint is not generated.

  • Patent number: 7013557
Abstract: A method of packaging an electronic component having electrodes soldered on lands on a printed circuit board uses a mask pattern that corresponds to the lands onto which solder paste is deposited. Solder paste is printed on the lands using the mask which has a convex shape such that the edges of the solder paste lie inside the edges of the lands. The electrodes are then placed on the solder paste, and the solder paste is caused to reflow to solder the electrodes to the lands.

  • Patent number: 6929973
Abstract: An electronic component that is provided with leads at a narrow pitch that are plated with solder is packaged by soldering the leads to lands on a printed circuit board on which the lands have been formed in a pattern of arrangement that corresponds to said leads. When packaging, solder paste is printed over areas on the lands that are greater in area than the area of the lands. The leads are then placed on this solder paste, and the solder paste is subjected to reflow to solder the leads onto the lands.

  • Patent number: 6872978
Abstract: In the fabrication of a CMOS-TFT, non-selectively doping (for both of p- and n-type TFTs) and selectively doping (only for the n-type TFT) with p-type impurities (B: boron) are successively performed at very low concentrations to control the threshold voltages (Vthp and Vthn). More specifically, the Id-Vg characteristics of the p- and n-type TFTs are initially negatively shifted. In this state, non-selectively doping is performed positively to shift the p- and n-type TFTs first to adjust the Vthp to a specified value. Selectively doping is then performed positively to shift only the n-type TFT to adjust the Vthn to a specified value. The threshold voltages of the p- and n-type TFTs constructing the CMOS-TFT can be independently and efficiently (with minimum photolithography) controlled with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 6854638
Abstract: The solder paste printing method of the present invention mounts a solder paste containing therein as a solder material a Sn—Zn system solder on a mask, and urges the solder paste to make rolling over the mask from one end thereof toward the opposite thereof by means of a squeegee to thereby fill the solder paste into apertures formed in the mask. At this time, by maintaining moisture contained in the atmosphere surrounding the solder paste at a value equal to or less than a predetermined value, as the solder paste is suppressed from causing an increase in the viscosity thereof due to the reaction with the moisture in the surrounding atmosphere during the solder paste printing process, the rolling ability of the solder paste during the printing process can be kept, and attachment of the solder paste to the squeegee can be prevented.
