    Abstract: A multi-shaft kneading machine includes a channel and two screws rotatable around first axes of rotation. A pair of gate rods sandwich the two screws and are rotatable around second axes of rotation. Each of the pair of gate rods has two recess parts that form respective spaces through which the two screws penetrate. Each of the pair of gate rods has a first contact surface, which comes into surface contact with a screw when a gate rod is rotated to a minimum degree-of-opening position. Large diameter parts are fitted into the groove of the cylinder, and a small diameter part have a radius of curvature equal to half a distance between two second axes of rotation and smaller than a radius of curvature of the large diameter parts. The small diameter parts of the pair of gate rods are in contact with each other.

    Abstract: A formation method of a silicon film which contributes to improvements in cycle characteristics and an increase in charge/discharge capacity and can be used as an active material layer is provided. In addition, a manufacturing method of a power storage device including the silicon film is provided. The formation method is as follows. A crystalline silicon film is formed over a conductive layer by an LPCVD method. The supply of a source gas is stopped and heat treatment is performed on the silicon film while the source gas is exhausted. The silicon film is grown to have whisker-like portions by an LPCVD method while the source gas is supplied into the reaction space. A power storage device is manufactured using, as an active material layer included in a negative electrode, the silicon film grown to have whisker-like portions.

    Abstract: A heating and ventilating fan including a frame, a motor with fan blades, a casing, a heating device, and an air path switching plate disposed at an air outlet of the casing for switching outlets of the ventilating fan and a timing motor. The timing motor and the air path switching plate are fixed on either side of a frame wall. The air path switching plate is connected to the timing motor shaft through a connection part, and controls the air path switching plate to rotate by a constant angle in a single direction. A spring having a first end fixed to the frame wall, and a second end rotating synchronously with the air path switching plate controls the air path switching plate to rotate in an opposite direction to the single direction. When the timing motor is switched off, the spring returns the air path switching plate to its rest position.
