  • Publication number: 20140162548
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide a relay apparatus capable of performing normal relay transmission for broadcast waves by preventing effects caused by wraparound in a relay apparatus. For broadcast waves received by a relay apparatus (2), the same broadcast data are placed in each of a defined segment (f0) and a first segment (f1) other than the defined segment, whereupon the relay apparatus removes broadcast data for the defined segment (f0) from the received broadcast waves, and transmits broadcast waves in which the broadcast data for the first segment (f1) have been exchanged with each of the defined segment (f0) and a second segment (f2) other than the defined segment and the first segment. As a result, the defined segment (f0) which imparts wraparound effects to the received broadcast waves is removed, and therefore, it is possible to perform normal relay transmission of the broadcast waves.

  • Patent number: 8736401
Abstract: To suppress changes in capacitance due to displacement between electrodes opposing each other across a dielectric layer, thereby allowing stable manufacturing of a capacitance device having a desired capacitance. The capacitance device according to the present invention is of a configuration including a dielectric layer (10), a first electrode (11) formed on a predetermined surface (10a) of the dielectric layer (10), and a second electrode (12) formed on a surface (10b) on the opposite side of the dielectric layer (10) from the predetermined surface (10a). The forms of the first and second electrodes (11, 12) are set so that even in the event that the first electrode (11) is relatively displaced regarding position in a predetermined direction as to the second electrode (12), the area of the opposing-electrode region between the first electrode (11) and to the second electrode (12) is unchanged.

  • Publication number: 20140126579
Abstract: In order to facilitate connecting to a SIP network, a router (20) forming a communication system (1) acquires information from a carrier network (30) by using DHCP. The information is necessary for connecting to a server (SIP server) placed on the carrier network. Moreover, a communication device (10) acquires the information from the router (20) by using local protocol that differs from the SIP and the DHCP. For example, UPnP protocol is adopted as the local protocol.

  • Patent number: 8580483
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of making a nozzle chip including a step of forming an ejection orifice row by performing irradiation with light rays using a mask having ejection orifice row patterns that form an ejection orifice row pattern of one nozzle chip when the ejection orifice row patterns are connected to each other through a connection portion. The mask is configured such that, with respect to a direction in which ejection orifices of the ejection orifice row are arranged, an absolute value of off-axis telecentricity of one of the light rays with which an ejection orifice that is at the smallest distance from the connection portion is irradiated is less than an absolute value of off-axis telecentricity of one of the light rays with which an ejection orifice that is at the greatest distance from the connection portion is irradiated.

  • Publication number: 20130256730
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a light-emitting device which does not undergo the deterioration in luminous efficiency associated with the long-term use. [Solution] A light-emitting device (1) comprises a light-emitting element (10) which can emit blue light and a phosphor (2) which is composed of a single kind of single crystal and can emit yellow light upon the irradiation with the light emitted from the light-emitting element (10) which serves as excitation light. Thus, it becomes possible to prevent the deterioration in luminous efficiency associated with the deterioration in a binder or the like compared with a light-emitting device which utilizes multiple kinds of granular phosphors, because any binder for binding phosphors to each other is not required in the light-emitting device (1).
