  • Publication number: 20160185120
Abstract: A gas-liquid separator includes a casing with a cylindrical chamber inside, a gas-liquid 2-phase inlet pipe which is attached to a wall of the casing and connected to the chamber, a gas outlet pipe for discharging the gas of a gas-liquid mixture flowing into the chamber, and the gas-liquid 2-phase outlet pipe for discharging the liquid as a most part of the gas-liquid mixture flowing into the chamber. A gap is formed around the gas-liquid outlet pipe in the chamber for separating the mixture into liquid and gas using the surface tension and suction force. The gas-liquid separator is installed in the inkjet recording apparatus, especially in the print head. The print head is filled with the solvent gas so as to be suctioned from the gutter to reduce the solvent consumption.

  • Patent number: 9302482
Abstract: An inkjet printing device allows separation of ink solvent liquefied in an exhaust passage from exhaust gas, and prevents the separated exhaust gas from contaminating the inside of the print head. When ink fed from a container is jetted from a printing nozzle, ink that has not been used for the printing is drawn by a gutter along with air and collected in the container. Air mixed with the ink solvent and collected is discharged as exhaust gas into an exhaust passage from the container. The ink solvent that has been liquefied in the exhaust passage is separated from the gas by retaining the liquid using capillary action in a gas-liquid separator, and the separated liquefied ink solvent is collected. The trace amount of the ink solvent leaking on the exhaust side of the gas-liquid separator is prevented from dripping into the print head by a drip prevention unit.

  • Publication number: 20150352845
Abstract: An inkjet printing device is configured to allow appropriate separation of the ink solvent liquefied in the exhaust passage from the exhaust gas, and prevention of the separated exhaust gas from contaminating the inside of the print head into which it is returned so that the resultant function achieves the low running costs. When the ink fed from an ink container 3 is jetted from a nozzle 6 for printing on a printing object, the ink 7 that has not been used for the printing is drawn by a gutter 8 along with air and collected into the ink container 3. The air that is mixed with the ink solvent and collected is discharged as the exhaust gas into an exhaust passage 15 from the ink container 3. At this time, the liquefied ink solvent that has been liquefied in the exhaust passage 15 is separated from the gas by retaining the liquid using capillary action in a gas-liquid separator 22, and the separated liquefied ink solvent is collected.

  • Patent number: 9120322
Abstract: An ink that is unused for printing when a supply ink from an ink container is ejected from a nozzle, and printing is conducted on an object to be printed is sucked by a gutter together with an air, and the ink and air are recovered into the ink container. In this situation, the air mixed with an ink solvent and recovered is discharged as an exhaust gas from the ink container by an exhaust path, and at this time, the ink mist is removed from the exhaust gas in which a liquefaction ink solvent liquefied within the exhaust path and the ink mist are mixed together by an ink mist mixture unit. Thereafter, the liquid is held by the aid of a capillary action, and separated from the gas in a gas-liquid separator to recover the separated liquefaction ink solvent.

  • Patent number: 6776844
Abstract: A production device to produce an organic EL display includes a solution in which a light emitting material is dissolved, and a flying electrode to receive solution from the container. A voltage is applied between the tip of the flying electrode and an electrically conductive material of an organic EL substrate to form an electrostatic field, and the tip of the flying electrode and the organic EL substrate are shifted relative to one another in at least one of a perpendicular direction and a horizontal direction. With this arrangement, the solution is formed into a stringy beam from the tip of the flying electrode to it fly onto the organic EL, substrate, thereby injecting the solution into a concavity formed and surrounded by banks on the organic EL substrate, and forming red, green and blue light emitting layers.

  • Patent number: 6604816
Abstract: The recording electrodes and the control electrodes of an ink jet recording head are alternately arranged on a substrate. Ink in which coloring material is distributed in a solvent is supplied to the recording electrode so that the ink can flow in the direction of the length of the recording electrode. An ink circulation part is provided for collecting surplus ink from the point of the recording electrode from which ink is discharged. As a result, an ink jet recorder, which can produce a high definition image without shifting the ink impact position on the recording medium, can be produced.

  • Patent number: 6557981
Abstract: An ink jet recording head has a plurality of ink-discharge electrodes and control electrodes and an opposed electrode arranged at a fixed spacing and grounded. A pulse voltage with a reversed polarity is applied to the control electrodes in synchronization with the superimposition of the pulse voltage on a bias voltage applied to the ink-discharge electrode when the ink is discharged. As a result, an ink jet recording apparatus, which can decrease the pulse voltage needed to discharge the ink, is provided with a simple configuration.
