  • Patent number: 11336942
Abstract: Introduced here are systems to manage and discover a processing offloader. A first multimedia device may identify a processing offloader in a networked environment. A first multimedia device may determine that a bandwidth of a second multimedia device in the networked environment falls below a threshold bandwidth, indicating that the second multimedia device may process instructions and render multimedia information with increased latency or delay. Based on this determination, the first multimedia device may forward instructions from the second multimedia device to the processing offloader for the processing offloader to process and render multimedia information on behalf of the second multimedia device based on the received instructions. The first multimedia device may forward rendered multimedia information from the processing offloader to the second multimedia device, and the second multimedia device may output the rendered multimedia information to an output device.

  • Patent number: 11314024
Abstract: A fiber optic connector deploys a latch lever release with an elastic rib. When the latch lever release is depressed down or toward the optical axis of the connector, a hook seated within a recess of the connector outer housing, the hook is lifted out of the recess thereby allowing the connector to be removed from the adapter port. A pivot point is formed between the main body of the latch lever release and the connector outer housing. Depressing the latch lever release distal of the pivot point at the trigger portion displaces the hook from the connector thereby allowing the user to remove the connector from a receptacle port, such as an adapter port.

  • Patent number: 11255740
Abstract: The present invention is related to a sensor. In particular, the present invention is related to a pressure sensor die and its fabrication process. The pressure sensor comprises a chamber inside which a pressure sensor die is provided. The pressure sensor die is uniformly compressed by the external pressure to be measured and can deform freely inside the chamber. The pressure sensor die is primarily constructed of single crystalline silicon and comprises a substrate and a cap connected together. A recess is formed on the cap. The recess forms a sealed cavity with the substrate. A silicon oxide layer is formed between the substrate and the cap. The substrate further comprises a plurality of piezoresistive sensing elements which are located inside the sealed cavity. The present pressure sensor is more immune to temperature effects. It is especially suitable for operating in a high temperature, high pressure environment and is capable of delivering accurate and reliable pressure measurements at low cost.

  • Patent number: 11226251
Abstract: A pressure sensor die especially suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure operating environment and delivering accurate and reliable pressure measurement at low cost. A single crystalline silicon includes a cap, a substrate and a base connected together. A recess formed on the cap creates an upper sealed cavity with the substrate. A silicon oxide layer is formed between the substrate and the cap. A recess formed on the base creates a lower sealed cavity with the substrate. The upper sealed cavity and the lower sealed cavity overlap in their projections. The substrate includes at least two sets of piezoresistive sensing elements located within the overlapping projections, perpendicular to each other, and oriented in different crystallographic directions.

  • Patent number: 11181701
Abstract: Reversible polarity fiber optic connectors are provided having housings at least partially surrounding first and second optical ferrules with walls above and beneath the ferrules. Positioning removable elements such as latches, removable arms, or push-pull tabs on the first wall above the ferrules yields fiber optic connectors with a first polarity type, and positioning the removable elements on the second wall beneath the ferrules yields fiber optic connectors with a second, opposite polarity type. Various engagement mechanisms are provided on either the connector housing walls or on the removable elements, or both, to assist in affixing the removable element to the connector housing.
