  • Publication number: 20060059981
Abstract: After a driven sprocket into which a ball bearing is press-fitted is pushed into a cylindrical portion of a pump cover, a sensor jig is set so as to have its legs extending from a base plate in contact with an end face of the cylindrical portion, and a front end of a sensor plate movable in parallel with the leg 13 in contact with an end face of the ball bearing. When the driven sprocket is not in a normal position in relation to the oil pump, the sensor plate intersects a light path between a light-emitting device and a light-receiving device placed as opposed to each other on the base plate, and on the other hand, when the driven sprocket is in a normal position, a light-passing hole formed in the sensor plate comes on the light path between the light-emitting device and the light-receiving device. Thereby it can be automatically determined based upon absence or presence of an optical signal from the light-receiving device whether or not an attachment state is appropriate.

  • Publication number: 20050214914
Abstract: Provided is a preparation process of diglycerides which comprises reacting a fatty acid or lower alkyl ester thereof with glycerin in the presence of an immobilized partial glyceride lipase while removing water, which is generated upon reaction, out of the system. The reaction is preferably terminated when the acid value (AV) of the reaction mixture satisfies the following range: 50R-60>AV>70R-150 (with the proviso that AV>0). The present process makes it possible to efficiently prepare a high purity of diglycerides without impairing lipase activity even under reduced pressure. The present process is effective without being influenced by variations in reaction conditions such as fatty acid/glycerin ratio, reaction temperature or enzyme concentration. Particularly, even when the fatty acid/glycerin ratio is high, a high purity of diglycerides can be produced at a high reaction yield.

  • Publication number: 20050121772
Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor (10) having reduced inductance which is separated into a first layer body (11) and a second layer body (12). The first layer body (11) and the second layer body (12) are formed by alternately layering inner electrodes (inner electrode 13a, inner electrode 13b) so as to face each other and sandwich ceramic layers (14). The ceramic layers (14) of the second layer body (12) are thicker than the ceramic layers (14) of the first layer body (11), so as to compensate for electrode height difference. Moreover, in the second layer body (12), the inner electrodes (13b) are electrically connected by via electrode (15b) so that the part of the via electrode (15b) extending without connection to an inner electrode (13b) is shortened.

  • Publication number: 20050122662
Abstract: A laminated ceramic capacitor 10 divided into a first laminate 11, a second laminate 12, a third laminate 13, and a fourth laminate 14. The first laminate 11 includes a ceramic layer 15 serving as a dielectric layer. The ceramic layer 15 is thicker than a ceramic layer 17 sandwiched between internal electrodes 16a in the second laminate 12 or the fourth laminate 14, and thinner than 20 times the thickness of the ceramic layer 17. The third laminate 13 includes dielectric layers, which serve as the ceramic layers 17, and has a thickness of 5% of the total thickness of the second laminate 12 and the fourth laminate 14. Accordingly, the third laminate 13 achieves the function of absorbing an electrode-induced thickness differential. Also, by means of regulating the thickness of the first laminate 11, portions of via electrodes 18 that extend without being electrically connected to the internal electrodes 16b can be shortened.

  • Patent number: 6871890
Abstract: The bumper mounting structure includes a front side member 1 and a bumper reinforcing member 2. In assembly, the tip end of the front side member 1 is connected with the bumper reinforcing member 2. The tip end of the member 1 is opened and provided with a slant part 10, forming a weakened part in the member 1. When an impact load causes the bumper reinforcing member 2 to be deformed, the deformation of the front side member 1 is induced at its opened end because of its weakened structure. Consequently, it is possible to carry out the effective absorption of impact energy without elevating a reaction force abruptly.
